15:56 Conclusion - Uzbekistan Travel Guide
This video offers a complete guide on Uzbekistan - from visas, flights, budget, and itinerary.
➡️ Visa:
Indians can apply for an e-visa to Uzbekistan. Apply for an e-visa here: e-visa.gov.uz/
Once your e-visa application is submitted, it takes 2-3 working days to receive the e-visa at your email address.
➡️ Transportation:
Uzbekistan has an excellent transportation infrastructure, including high-speed trains called Afrosiyob that connect Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara.
➡️ Places to Visit Uzbekistan:
Some of the must-see places in Uzbekistan include Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Aral Sea, and Fergana Valley.
➡️ Registration Card:
It's best to be prepared and ask your hotel or hostel to provide a registration slip free of charge and keep it with you during your trip, as you may be asked for it at the border or airport. This can help you avoid any potential issues.

Greetings from Australia and keep up the great work
Thank you 😊
Hey, Raksha! I didn't know about you until the previous week, and stumbled upon your channel quite randomly when CZcams's algorithm detected I was researching a lot on Uzbekistan. I have been meaning to visit Uzbekistan since before the pandemic, but some information but some vital deets were missing. First off, you are amazing! Your stories on traveling solo, and smashing the society's idea of ideal life are two most important aspects of life that I resonate with, too.
This particular video, and the rest on Uzbekistan that you have uploaded are enough for even someone hearing about the country for the first time plan their travel there. The manner in which you have narrated your journey and experiences through a montage of images and videos, and your blog, is commendable. I now have almost everything I need to finalise my trip, barring a couple of small details for which I might get in touch with separately. Thank you once again, and keep inspiring us! ❤
Made my day 🥹🙏 so happy to hear that the Uzbekistan series helped you. Makes all the effort worth it. And thank you for your kind words. Means a lot 😊
Hi Raksha. I am enjoying your vlog because it is bringing back the sweet memories of my recent travel to UZ in September 2022.
I loved the country. It's people, their hospitality and love they show.
Ever since I have been back from Uzbekistan, believe me I am always looking for vlogs from various travel channels regarding UZ in particular and also other central Asian countries. My next destination hopefully will be Kazakhstan.
Keep traveling. Travel is the the best way to understand other cultures.
Nothing else replaces the Unlimited experience one achieves via travel.
Love it !@!
I'm so glad to hear it. Uzbekistani people are truly some of the sweetest I've come across while traveling! :)
Awesome video
Thank you 😊
Very well articulated Raksha
Thank you. I hope it was helpful!
This was a very interesting and informative video
Nice informative video. Well done.
Highly informative Raksha, thank you for the details. I would be going to Kazak and Uzbek by May 24 and will contact you for any doubts. Thanks again.
Most Informative Video ever. Thank you very much. Tell us about the Hotels. The Motels & the Guesthouses as well

Good video! Keep in mind when you are traveling you could have bought the painting and mailed it home. If you are not familiar with mailing items, I'm pretty sure the merchant would have done it for you.
I have never done it before. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll look into it the next time :)

I hope you do 😊
Well explained ❤
Thanks for incredible video ! I have a question for you. Do you need to have day tours in Tashkent and Samarkand ? Or you can just take cab from your hotel to these tourist places?
Thanks for a very engaging video!! Very useful, I am planning a 4-5 day trip to Uzbek in the coming days.
So glad to hear it. Happy travels in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿
How is the planning going on.... Do we need to carry Uzbek currency with us?
Also can we jus get down at Tashkent and find stays for ourself without prior booking
This is a very informative video, thanks a lot! 🙂 I am your new subscriber!
I am planning to visit Uzbekistan soon - mainly Tashkent, Samarkhand and Bukhara. Is Khiva worth visiting? Kindly suggest!
I was planning to visit Khiva just because of the Aral Sea visit - any idea how much that tour costs?
You are welcome 🤗 and thank you :) Khiva is more untouched than Bukhara since it's far away. I would suggest to visit Khiva if you have the time. I'm not sure about the prices though as I didn't go to Aral Sea. Usually guesthouses organise a day trip to Khiva so you can check there. It's going to a very long day going to Aral Sea though.
Hello there. I would like to visit Uzbekistan, Tajikistan & maybe Kazakhstan in May/June. Thanks a lot for your information on food as I am a big foodie and basically have no dietary restrictions. Thanks for also providing other information. Happy and safe travels.
I am Planning to Visit Uzbekistan and Baku (Azerbaijan)
This vlog is supersmart
Thank you 😊
No Nonsense. Only information wonderful video keep it up ❤
Thanks a ton!
Hello that helped in heaps new supporter here 👍
Just would like to know 5 days would be enough for Bukhara & Samarkhant ? Apologies for spelling errors. ❤
I'm so glad to hear it 😊❤️ Yes, for Bukhara and Samarkand, 5 days would be good to comfortably cover the major attractions
Hello Raksha, thanks for your video. Did you join some guided tours around the main cities? I found them really expensive considering the cost of living
Yeah. That can be expensive. But there are guides in the major tourist attractions of Uzbekistan. So you can just visit these places and opt for a guide there.. that could be anywhere between 30000 som to 100,000 som
very informative
pl guide me cheap packages how can i get?
Hello Raksha! Thank for your helpful and insightful video. Did the border officer ask you for the registration in Uzbekistan by the end of your trip? Can't find an appropriate information regarding this subject. Thanks in advance.
Hey there! I collected all the registration slips from all the stays but they didn't ask me about it. I crossed the border 3 times. And I wasn't asked any of these times. However, I heard a fellow traveler was asked. And if you don't have it, there could be problems. So it's either a hit or a miss. Until this rule is entirely removed, it's better to carry all the slips in my opinion.
@@TheRovingHeart thank you a lot for the answer. That's just what I was thinking. Love your channel 💗
hi. please tell what is the temperature like during July and August? is it really scorching hot?

@@TheRovingHeart how are you beautiful
Informative video Raksha, I have one question that do they give sticker visa or only stamp on the passport? 😅
There's no sticker visa as it's e-visa. Only stamps
Thankyou, great information. Would the 50 dollers a day include accommodation?
Great video. Very informative. Happy to have come across your channel as a fellow Bangalorean. Can you please tell me where we can book Afrosiyob train tickets online?
Hey Tanveer. Glad to hear that this video was useful :) There's a UZ railway app where you can book tickets. You can find all the links here on the blog post - therovingheart.com/uzbekistan-travel-guide/
@@TheRovingHeart Thanks a lot, Raksha. I wish you all the best in your journey as a travel content creator.
Could you do video on each city u visited and which places or sights should we should see in each city. Hotels you stayed in. How did u book ur train tickets. Is the train only way to travel. Could we take planes to get from one city to another.
There are already individual videos on the locations that I visited in Uzbekistan.

And you can find the rest of the information in the blog post therovingheart.com/uzbekistan-travel-guide/
Hi - thank you for a very informative video. Is it fairly easy to visit the sites without a guide? Or do you recommend hiring one at each site or even taking a guided tour package (we usually don’t prefer this, but how difficult is the language barrier?)
It's fairly accessible I'd say.. so you don't really need a guide at all times.. but I'd recommend a guide especially to places like Registan Square
Can anyone tell how is the weather in Oct in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara? Are the days clear bright?
Hello! Thank for the informational video. What about sim card? Did you buy one there? If yes, what are the options?

Hi Raksha... many thanks for an informative video.... however, which site can I use to access a visa.... Is the visa free?.... I'm from South Africa
It's e-visa for Indians. Not sure about South Africa though. You will have to check. All the resources are mentioned here

Thank you so much for the video. It will really help me and my family when we travel in May 2024.

Do you gave any tips/ guidance for older qtourists with mobilty issues
How do i select a good hotel ( must have lifts)
Hello.. booking.com usually has a filter - facilities for disabled guests which would more than accommodate older tourists as well. That might be a good place to start
Hi, this is Raj with you. It is wonderful to watch your video.
I need a suggestion. How about visiting Uzbekistan in 2nd week of feb 24.
Will i be able to complete the visit in 4 nites and five days covering major cities of Uzbekistan.
Appreciate your reply and suggestions.
Thanks
Hey Raj.. if you don't mind the cold, then there's no problem visiting during this time. Although I believe you need 10 days to cover all the 4 main cities of Uzbekistan and really justify spending time in each of them. If you are short on time, you could visit Samarkand and Bukhara as the attractions here are architecturally different and they are not too far from each other.
Thanks for the reply.
Hi..im Landing in Tashkent at early Morning & same day i have hooked train to go to Samarkand..
Can you tell me which is the best way to do money exchange?
-From Airport?
-Money exchanger at Samarkand?
-from ATM machines?
Thanks
Uzbekistan is one of my possible destinations for this September. I needed some information, how can I contact you ?
Hi Raksha! Are you able to touch base on currency exchange? Are there any places at the airport OR outside the airport? What currencies do banks accept and is the rate reasonable? 😊
It's always best not to exchange currency at the airport as they tend to get expensive. And debit and credit cards are generally accepted in Uzbekistan. If you need any specific help from me, feel free to book a session www.buymeacoffee.com/therovingheart/e/132186?from_page=home
I will be visiting Almaty, Tashkent and Samarkand by the 2nd week of May. Though I am flying from Almaty to Tashkent, I still like to know your experience about crossing board between Uzbekistan and Kazakstan.
Hey.. I hope you have a great time there.. you can check out the blog post for my experience with border crossings - therovingheart.com/uzbekistan-travel-guide/
Hi mam.. I want to go Uzbekistan in march 2024 with my family.. Please guide us.. Your video is very helpful❤ I want to talk to you
Hi Wonderful video...I am planning to visit the place and was looking for info about local guide..your response says 30 to100 K Soms..thats USD 3 to 8....is it that inexpensive? Could youpl give me some Guide references?
Hi, are there options to convert to Uzbek Som directly from INR at Tashkent? Or do we need to carry USD?
I also have the same query, do we need to keep the currency handy from India
Hi Raksha, I'm from pune
Could please tell me what will be the total cost form india to Uz in indian currency for 7 days trip.
Hi, can you please tell from where to get currency exchange in Uzbekistan? As we are directly traveling to Bukhara first from airport?
I'm not sure in Bukhara. Sometimes, you can pay through USD (the taxi drivers charge a little more in this case) or you can withdraw money through your Forex card somewhere close to the airport. A more hassle-free option is to book an airport transfer to your hotel and then check with the hotel staff on where to exchange money (this way you get the best rates)
Is it fine to travel in winter there?
Hi Raksha !
Lots of valuable information,
By the way, is a tour guide needed to show you around in Uzbekistan or oneself can find his way around to see the interesting places.
based on your experience!
Thank you!
Thank you.. glad it was useful.. actually I don't think it's required for the entirety of the trip (personally, i prefer independent travel). There are usually English speaking guides at the major tourist attractions in Uzbekistan. So if you prefer to take their services, you can do it there. Really helpful in understanding more about the history and the monuments there.
@@TheRovingHeart thank you so much, appreciate it 🌹

Thanks for such a helpful video. I am going to take my mom - who is 75 years old. Quite healthy - but cannot walk for more than 5-10 minutes. Will it be ok to take her?
Always makes me happy to see that it has been useful for my community 😊 that's fantastic! In that case, I'd suggest sticking to Tashkent and Samarkand. You will find cabs easily there. As Bukhara and Khiva are mostly old towns and would require walking around to explore
Nice explanation. Thank you. Feeling to travel Uzbekistan. How to book high speed train ticket from Taskhent to Bukhara?
