      @@eyesnapples6167 What do you gain from announcing your heartlessness to the world? Is it a source of pride for you?
      People giving away free self defense seminars costs them not just their time, but also money in that they have to provide for premises for the event that cost them money, if not directly then through opportunity cost. This generosity of spirit, especially with something so many need, is heartwarming.

      @oggaming7362 Před 5 lety +1

      It's not heartbreaking to know you have to protect your children... if you think that's heartbreaking then you're already "losing the battle" so to speak. It's heartbreaking to LOSE your child, for sure. But, to know you have to protect them??? No, that's not heartbreaking. That's just the laws of life itself. I'm saying this to you because, as stated in this video, learn to protect yourself first before you can protect others. This includes your wimpy perspective on what should and shouldn't be happening to people. Toughen up. You don't have time for heartbreak, heartbreak will make you freeze up and not make the right choices BEFORE something terrible happens and a REAL reason for heartbreak happens to you or your child.

I also sat my son down and told him, desciptively, what could happen to him if he DID trust and go with someone....and that 9 times out of 10 that horrible person would be someone you know...baseball coach, soccer coach, school teacher. And it happened one day that he WAS put in that situation. He was bik riding to the corner store with his buddy when a minivan stopped and asked the boys to help him find his dog. His friend was going to go. I wasnt sure at the time if I did the right thing scaring my son with the truth but now? I'm so glad I did. SO GLAD!

They create a distraction and then take the child away you are distracted. If someone trys to take my child and I put them down, the second kidnapper comes and takes the child while I deal with the 1st kidnapper. And once the 2nd kid napper has my child the 1st one runs away from the enconter.

    Rule #1 should be to have your children attached to you like glue and to run to safety if a forced kidnapping is being attempted.
    #2 is never be stupid and have your children out in unsafe areas in the first place.
    #3 is to make sure you know how to protect your children or family and self.
    #4 should be to train your children to protect themselves and run to safety.
    #5 should be is to be offensive on steroids to the max when something this evil happens.

    What do you do if your child runs to their team mate for help? I guess usually there's only 1 driving and one snatching. Sad world. Human trafficking.

    In this example we can see, that when woman manages takedown on abdutor, there is pretty high chance of child hitting ground with his head.

    This is a very nice video. Are you offering these lessons to parents for free?
    If not... this was a very long infomercial with some serious scare tactics to try and make some money.

    What is being described here is much closer to a domestic violence scenario than to a child abduction one. Not that it changes the general message of learning self defense. Situational awareness however is the best technique to use against abduction or say pickpockets. And consider both often work in teams.
    I suggest you talk with the LAPD on best practices regarding such incidents.
