In The Hex, Sado was created to sabotage Lionel's games. She was created to Wreak Havoc. By the end of the Hex, she escapes to the real world and at the ending of Inscryption she was the girl who Luke Carder. At that time her motives were unknown and why she killed Luke. However, the rest of Kaycee's Mod explains why she did this. Especially entry #07. That entry said that there may be Doomsday Machine right under Berlin that can be activated by the Karnoffel Code from Hitler's Rotting corpse. Sado must have known this when Inscryption was being developed by Kaycee with help of Gameworks. It is possible that Sado learned about it when she was released from the Gamework's detention sector. During the chaos, she might have gathered all of Gameworks's Data. Including info about their client, Kaycee. If we were to go by your explanation that the artifact from The Hex is a fragment of the OLD_DATA. Then Sado who had just witnessed what the OLD_DATA is capable of. She knew who had the rest of the OLD_DATA. And wanted to track it down. Eventually, She found its new owner Luke. Thank to Luke's videos covering the only copy of Inscryption. Tracking Luke down and killing him to get her hand of the OLD_DATA. She wants it for herself. With the OLD_DATA, all she has to do now is find the Karnoffle Code and activate the doomsday in Berlin. She's doing this because it's her main purpose. Wreak Havoc. Granted, It is possible that she wants the OLD_DATA because she can become more powerful and Wreak Havoc. However, as she is now in the real world. The OLD_DATA, from what we know so far, only drives people insane in real life. Like Luke slowly driving insane by playing Inscryption or Kaycee unable to let go of the OLD_DATA. Sado must have known what the OLD_DATA contained, therefore giving her a motive in real life. TL:DR Sado wants the OLD_DATA to reactivate the doomsday device in Berlin in order to Wreak Havoc in real life just like she did in the virtual world. This is just my theory. There are a few holes in this theory but it seems the most likey for me.
