I watched the first episode and I’ll watch the final episode
My son informed me early part of the year that it will come to an end. I screamed at him saying no……no…. You cannot be serious, i love that programme very much. But he continue saying sorry mum. Its going to finish ,then i cried. Could not believed what i am hearing. I will really miss this programme so much.
I’d like to hear why Channel 5 has cancelled Neighbours when it’s so loved with over 1 million viewers in the U.K. alone. Clearly, the top executives have 0 common sense to cancel something that has high viewer ratings. Reverse this bad decision CH5 and redeem yourself.
Apparently it's to focus on more British drama shows
@@ilovethe90s91 Yeah, I just read that Channel 5 said it costs to much to film, compared to the revenue Neighbours generates from its advertising. But Fremantle, in Australia, who film neighbours share some of the costs, so that doesn’t make much sense. But I think the real reason, is, they want, like you said, to focus on more U.K. Dramas, but I don’t see why we can’t have both, when the viewer ratings are so high in the U.K. for it. Also, why can’t Fremantle go it alone, and put it on CZcams, and see if it generates the same high viewer ratings on there, becoming a CZcams sensation, and generating revenue from doing that, if t’s possible, with actors and viewers making donations as well, via CZcams and other media to keep it afloat.
@@lg5819 yeah I agree with you, or at least another channel in the UK, there's so many streaming channels nowadays that could take it on, im not a regular viewer but my mum is, I used to watch when Dylan and stingray were in it, I enjoyed watched them, I like watching home and away though,
@@lg5819 I'm not sure of the exact viewing figures but I imagine they are quite high in millions, neighbours have been on channel 5 for 10 years after it used to be on the BBC, makes you wonder, why now? To cancel it

Yeah. She’s from Carrickfergus, NI but been in Aus since she was 3. Her family moved over so her dad could join Victoria Police.
A lot of people are saying they're gonna miss it, and then you ask were they watching it. Answer: no. Only got good again at the end as they brought back talent! Was nothing but softcore porn for a while
