    Hi, this job is really good, where did you buy the shock spacers ?? I read your coments about the rear spacers cracks, do you tink I can use the universal rubber spacers for the rear ??

    • @4x4AUTOBOT
      @4x4AUTOBOT  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Hello, yes! The rear spacers are crap. Don't bother using it. You can get other materials like aluminum rear spacers, i haven't tried those but i think they should be more durable than the one i installed. Recently, i just installed alldogsoffroad lift coil springs in the rear.

      Thanks. I didn't have to touch the spare tire at all. 👌

  • @PYROtheNomad
    @PYROtheNomad Před rokem +1

    Does the upper control arm hit the coil bucket at all? Ik that’s a common issue with this style lift but if you don’t have any problems I might consider it. Also did you install the tires yourself because my local tire shops say they can’t install a 285/75 on the stock 16s

    • @4x4AUTOBOT
      @4x4AUTOBOT  Před rokem +1

      Yes, its hitting the coil bucket. But you can get away with installing an aftermarket upper control arm to avoid that. If you are gonna do jumping on offroad i wouldnt recommend this setup. Get an aftermarket upper control arm and a lift coilover for crazier offroading. This set up is for cruiser with capability. I did the tire install myself.

      @@4x4AUTOBOT I have a 2wd pathfinder so I’m never gunna do any crazy off-roading. The most I’ll ever do is maybe some light trails. But it’s a daily driver so it’ll rarely see anything other than asphalt. Do you think it’s ok for everyday driving?

    • @4x4AUTOBOT
      @4x4AUTOBOT  Před rokem +3

      @@PYROtheNomad o yahh definitely its good for daily use and light trail, its not good for hardcore trail. That's all my purpose basically, cruiser/light trail.

    how does it ride after the lift and with the bilsteins? does it help on FSR or make the whole truck sway even more?

    • @4x4AUTOBOT
      @4x4AUTOBOT  Před rokem

      It rides pretty good and no noticable swaying actually. The only problem is that the alignment, rear camber is +1.6 positive .
      Not a big big deal.
      I might maybe change it the rear to metal spacer on the subframe.

    How has it held up? Planning on running 285/70/17 or 265/70/17 Havent decided yet but defintily would like to add a spacer lift I have ran expensive kits before super harsh for normal road driving and stiff

    • @4x4AUTOBOT
      @4x4AUTOBOT  Před 9 měsíci +2

      This is actually my first time having a truck, so i dont't really mind the ride. Maneuverability have gone down compare with stock height. And the rear spacer with this type of spacer is not good ( not recommended at all) it cracks when u hit a big potholes or coming down a curb. Not good. Prolly go for aluminum or something else. But not this type.

      Here is for the rear axle. Again, i don't recommend this particular lift spacer as they crack easily. Get a rather aluminum or just get the lift coil springs, its what i have now just for the rear.

    • @4x4AUTOBOT

      The front is ok and have no problem whatsoever. But youll end up with coil bucket contact if you don't change the UCA with an aftermarket one.
      The rear spacer however gave me problem like cracking when i drive slightly fast on bumps. 😅
      Invest on a proper lifts to avoid headaches. For me i don't mind as i can fix it. Lol

    • @4x4AUTOBOT

      Yes thats what i did. The strut assembly from the passenger is going to the driver side, vice versa.
      That way it will mount to the frame.
