All cars have some kind of fail safe. So, it should be somewhere inside, close to the bottom center of the tailgate. There's gotta be one for your truck too. If I'm not mistaken it should be in the same place like mine. Remove the cover and move the lever.
@@4x4AUTOBOT My 2010 Pathfinder doesn't have a manual release either. I pulled the panel away from the drivers side and hooked up the new switch and then opened the hatch to get at the last screw holding the panel on, then Bobs your uncle.
Excellent vid. Thanks
I'm fixing to do this as well on my 08. It's a pain to pop the window, then reach in and use the inside latch lol
😁
Try getting in from the rear passenger door and go to the back and do it there, that would be easier.
Thank you for the video, did your hatchback sometimes not lock, and by changing the switch it locked all the time after that?
Not a problem sir. No I didn't have that kind of problem 🤔
Hey, great video. Can you give a link for the part you bought? I have the same problem.

How do you replace the Center High Mount break light?
I haven't done one yet. But ill probably make a video soon.
My 2010 Pathfinder does not have the handle to manually open it from inside. What do you recommend to unlock it?
