Imagine two legendary masters who’ve spent years if not decades searching for merely one of these ghostfire crystals with the best lightsaber dueling skills in the galaxy. And the two of them dueling with the clear blades.
IMAGINE...a totally silent duel..no sounds emitted, just the quick and light tapping of feet as they fight. And the sight of the two blades creating arcs sparking out when they come into contact with each other. I want that in a movie.

A truly experienced Force user might not struggle as much as you'd expect just from the blade being hard to see. As Kreia puts it "When one relies on sight to perceive the world, it is like trying to stare at the galaxy through a crack in the door."

They haven't been built in the canon movies/TV show, but they have in the comics/extended universe, hope this helps
If it isn't in Canon, then it doesn't matter, as it doesn't exist. Until Disney makes EU Canon, or Semi-Canon instead of flat out denying it, it won't exist.

Imagine having a ghost fire whip, almost impossible to defeat
In one hand, a hilt with 4 ghost fire crystals for a double bladed lightsaber with 2 dual phase blades so they could each change size on a whim, from off, to short sword length, to long sword length. And have the hilt be like count dooku's, slightly curved and the ability to adjust to the degree of the curvature, giving the absolute most in possible angles of attack.
In the other hand, a hilt with 7 smaller, weaker ghost fire crystals to produce a ghost fire lightwhip.

My favorite was the duel bladed saber that I made with purple color on the new game,The Force Awakens. I really like the way that I had built the hilt and purple was a really good color for it. But as far as the movies go Luke’s green saber that he built for himself in Return of the Jedi was my favorite.

I think most Jedi would not really feel the need for the ghost fire crystal. As it is seemingly more tailored for combat with the intent to maim and kill. That being said, Mace Windu would wreck bitches even more than he already does with the ghost fire crystal.
And on that note, please send me Mace Windu's lightsaber.
Ghostfire with the Weightless lightsaber would be horrible. Imagine trying to fight blindfolded, wielding the weapon in a hand with no sense of touch.
With having almost no physical presence whatsoever, that lightsaber would more likely cut the weilder than their opponent. Even as a Jedi or Sith, it would take years of training to even be able to wield something like that decently, let alone effectively. And even then, they are still under the constant danger of accidentally cutting themself.
Maybe for a normy like you and I, it would be suicide. But think of how many countless times we see Jedi padawans and even younglings training with their sabers while...blindfolded. Just in what we've seen of the episodic movies, it is completely plausible a masterful Jedi or Sith would be able to wield the Bane Fire Saber with proficiency.
Mike Keough taking away just sight is still doable. Taking away sight, sound, AND touch? No way in hell. Even a master wouldn't be able to compensate for all of those in combat.

Mike Keough attitude would have nothing to do with it. It's instinct. You can't see the blade, the hilt has no weight to it, and you cant even hear the blade activate or idle. The Weapon itself is almost completely etherial at that point. It has almost no physical presence. That thing could fly right out of your hand and you wouldn't even notice. It would take years, if not decades, to learn to combat literally every single hardwired instinct in your brain, that has anything to do with those three senses.
At best, a weapon like that would only be useful for a quick stab from behind. In a face-to-face duel you're absolutely screwed - especially if your opponent knows anything about Force Sense.

This Crystal would suit some one who works as an assassin, as you stated in the video. I also think that as you said it was difficult to spot with the naked eye, I believe that as all Crystals are connected to the force certain force wielders would be able to sense or feel the Crystal nearby. Especially for some one who was blind who’s connection to the force was stronger to overcome their blindness. They’d be able to feel where the Crystal was in order to locate it. I actually came up with a Sith Assassin OC who becomes blind and learns to rely on the force to perceive things and people around him. Which means, he would be able to locate a Crystal if he was near it and It would definitely suit him with the application of stealth to his role as an Sith Assassin.

Put it in a saberstaff (or double-bladed lightsaber), but never TELL anyone it's a saberstaff. That way you can fight someone regularly and then suddenly activate your second blade and impale them. Make sure no one sees you so you can keep it a secret.

Dragon Pearl saber... next to this one, a Dragon Pearl would be the 2nd most rarest Saber power source. Ren had one in her Dragon claw saber. One type of Dragon is on Season 2 Mandalorian. They are extremely hard to kill.

The fighting style where the user keeps turning their saber on and off is one we NEED to see in live action
i imagine this lightsaber being a complete game changer, as anyone wielding it could change the entire shape of a battle. a couple examples: someone big and large, like King Adas could use this lightsaber, because no one would expect such a large foe to attack stealthily like that. i particularly imagine a very large jedi/sith, using a battle axe/large non-saber weapon, while force throwing his GhostSaber at unsuspecting enemies. or maybe someone small and quick, like Yoda, who could probably clear an entire room without anyone standing a chance. or maybe someone who lingers in the shadows, using the dark to his advantage. heck, being a translucent blade, maybe even someone who uses the light of the sun to somehow blind enemies? someone with that blade has more practical and impractical possibilities and variations of use than a normal saber. this would be an incredible, possibly universe changing crystal and blade... one that any blade wielder can further customize to their own fighting style. If i had to choose, THIS would be my favorite color.

I believe that a person who’s strong in the force could close their eyes and dual a ghost lightsaber wielder. Maybe a blind Jedi...? Remember Luke was able to see without seeing..... faith in the force.
i would think that there are those who are less skilled and might not have the ability to do so as effectively. seeing with the force is a skill that i'm assuming must be fine tuned or else it just wont be effective for you.

Darth Bane is a huge fucking dude. His style does not need a crystal such as this. I think it would suit Ahsokas Shoto really well.
Another benefit would be the fact that both light and dark sides of the force, including the Grey Jedi, using this crystal would be able to venture into enemy territory even partake in combat on their side without being discovered. Not to mention the multitude of lightsaber variations this crystal would enhance.

I think the ghost fire is a mysterious crystal that just confuses people on levels. Even though science may not explain this, it's still seems to be an elegant weapon of a force wielding assassin. I would like to see a crystal integrated into a lightsaber someday in canon.

Combine a translucent weapon with his clumsiness, you'll never know where the blade is.
Also, it's a good representation of him. It's nearly invisible, like how people want Jar Jar. Also, if he was secretly evil then an invisible weapon would be an amazing representation.

Yes, true however: You do have to factor in skill sets and specializations. Actual fighting isn't (ALWAYS) a A beats B and B beats C, so A beats C scenario.
Consider someone like Obi wan who's skill set is based on defense while Qui-gon Jin is based mostly on constant attack. Obi has a much better change chance against offensive fighters beacuse he has strong defenses. But Jin, has the best chance if his opponent can't keep up. Maul, unfortunately, could and Jin's defense couldn't handle Maul like Obi-wan's could. (Also the reason why Obi beat Anakin)

if your padawan that beats the sith in your logic is Obi Wan then its a little flawed as Kenobi was only a padawan by title and experience, he had more than enough skill.. also Maul being arrogant and ignorant of the High Ground .. besides its all titles in regard to positions of power.. there were quite a few knights that could have been masters but chose not to, and Sith Assassins/inquisitors that could have been Apprentices but were told to operate in the shadows

I'm actually learning a LOT about the different types of lightsabers and their crystals. I've always been more partial to the varying blue colored lightsabers. What I also like is the way the lightsabers hilt or handles are shaped. And I've always liked Obi-Wan's lightsaber design and shape.

It's from the current Star Wars rpg, so we have statistics for it, there just are no known characters that have possessed one, only player characters or npcs in the game.

All time favorite light saber has got to be the Grand Inquisitor, although it may be a bit less reliable, the cool factor is amazing.
Honestly I believe the indigo lightsaber you can create in Fallen Order has become my favorite.
Symbolically since it is between both blue and purple we can ascertain a certain personality type.
The Blue Lightsaber symbolizes Justice And protection. They were more aggressive in combat than a “green” Jedi.
The Purple symbolizes Moral Ambiguity and touched by the dark side. The wielder of this blade was consider to see morality as grays rather than black and white.
This means the weirder of an indigo colored blade has been touched by the dark side and returned to the light.
The wielder does not fully follow the Jedi Code, but adheres more closely to that of the Grey Jedi.
The Indigo lightsaber is a symbol of one’s introspection to find an extrospective conclusion. The weirder uses self reflection and insight to foresee answers to a point of near clairvoyance. The wielder of an indigo has returned from the darkness ready to illuminate others with knowledge.
Cal Kestis would be a wielder if an indigo blade since Order 66 traumatized him and caused mental blocks, which were only broken after he faced his inner self, and let go of his former self.
The blade itself has no special qualities since it is from a kyber crystal, and appears as a bright purple blade with a blue aura.

I love how everyone is talking about how the ghostfire crystal makes the blade nearly invisible and how it produces no sound. And in the video you talked about it being very hard to track in combat since the attacker would have to rely on the hilt to know where to defend. But the ghostfire crystal has a third trait in it description of where it creates "illusory after images of the blade that follows the wielder's motions, disorienting foes and disguising the true position of the blade."

My ALL TIME favorite lightsaber is the Darksaber. Mandalorians are tooooo bad-ass and the history behind the saber in Canon AND Legends is just awesome! Im glad the blade is in the possession of a Mandalorian currently in canon, makes me happy.

In my opinion, in order to be worthy and strong enough in the Force to gain a Ghostfire lightsaber crystal and wield a Ghostfire lightsaber, a Force-sensitive would have to have the philosophy of that of a Grey Jedi, but not just some random or typical Grey Jedi. Like you said, the search made takes decades of a Force-user's life to find a single Ghostfire Crystal and the finding of one would be, in my mind, the most hardest and greatest trial any being strong in the Force could ever go through, testing the force-user's patience, determination, and will just to name a few. Through the process of this Force user's journey, he or she will be constantly tested on their stance in the force, testing to see whether they fall with the Lightside, the Darkside, or in in-between. No Force-user on the Light or Dark side would be able to complete the trial for the reason being that the that the obstacles put in their path would be too hard to overcome, a true Force-user in the middle ground of the force would be able to pass the tests, use both sides of the Force, refuse temptations pulling toward the Light and Dark, to have TRUE balance between Peace and Passion, Strength and Knowledge, Serenity and Power, Victory and Harmony, a true example of The Grey Code and what every Grey Jedi should strive to achieve, no matter how difficult and all throughout this journey, as he/she learns more about themselves, they gather items from where they have traveled that will ultimately forge together to make the lightsaber hilt that is to hold the rare and legendary lightsaber crystal, a hilt that shows signs of maturity in the Force, textures relating to the Light, Dark, and Grey. After all the tests of the trial, the result would be a Force-sensitive being who truly sees him/herself as an agent of the Force, one wishing to be a ghost to those of the eye, to be in plain sight, but at the same time hidden, to vanish as quick as they appeared, to leave no traces of their presence, to be used as the Force commands, to ultimately be "One With The Force", this will prove the Force-sensitive to have passed the trial and qualify as worthy to obtain the power that is the Ghostfire lightsaber crystal.
