- Majority of "Connectivity Issues" can be improved by simply understanding how the controller and the electronics talk to each other. This video takes you through different board constructions and volumes and different techniques you can try to improve your connectivity especially for takeoff technique.
Some are as simple as allowing a few extra seconds before pulling the throttle, others are more in depth and require a varied take-off technique.
We highly recommend watching to further your Foil Drive stoke!

Great vid, really clears and informative,as always! Saves us explaining this to our clients.
I think these tips will help me with my FDA + using my new Sunova Casey board. I had to try some new techniques last weekend (like holding the controller behind me and using cruise to start) compared to a much higher liter board (120L) I was using to learn on last year that was always easy to start the FD.
Hi guys thanks - keen to understand mast placement - thoughths?
Start right at the back of the tracks. Work forward from there if you need to. Hold the foil from the middle when upside down. It should be pretty balanced. There's vids on it.
Thanks
We've got a setup Masterclass on our to-do list but the advice from Simon is correct, if you are running the motor down near the fuse, the placement of the mast becomes slightly different as your thrust is coming from so low. This is where boards with long tracks are really useful to play even more with the placement.
