    This is gorgeous!!! I'm an absolute beginner ( a couple of months in ) so I know I can't just pick up my yarn today and get a perfect result but your teaching is so well that I'm confident that I will be able to get a decent result soon. I'll let you know how I go 🙂

    I looovveee these colors! The pattern is perfect for me. I consider myself a beginner. I have done a few blankets. But I still struggle with having straight edges. I appreciate you using a yarn that is not to expensive and easy to get. 💫

    Love this! Your tutorials are the best. I made a scarf with this stitch. I want to make a blanket for my couch, I had bought a 5, bulky yarn , Charisma Charisme from Michael’s. Would this be ok??

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  Před 3 lety

      Thank you for your kind words! It truly means a lot to me. That sounds like a squishy and warm blanket to me! Yes, you can use that yarn for this stitch. You will just want to look on the yarn label and use the recommended hook size. Your blanket will turn out a little bigger when using a bulky weight yarn/bigger hook, so keep that in mind.

    How many chains to make an official baby blanket? Ricki

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  Před 3 lety

      I made my blanket 115 chains. However if you wanted a different size, you’ll need to make a chain in a multiple of 3 and add 1 chain to the very end.

    How many skeins to make solid color?

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  Před 3 lety +1

      It would depend on how big you want to make the blanket and what yarn you plan to use. If you're following along with the same size blanket I have in this tutorial, you'll probably need about 3-4 skeins of Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn. For the rainbow version, I did not use up the entire skein of yarn.

    Why do we have to do 109 chains what if I want to make it longer

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  Před 3 lety +1

      You need to work the multiple I mention in the video in order for your project to be balanced and worked evenly across your row. Otherwise the pattern won't work out. You can always make the blanket larger by following the multiple I mention in the video. Hope that helps!
