This was an older span-wire intersection that was replaced in 2018. What was a little interesting about the old intersection was how it only had 8" vehicle signals, but 12" ped signals.
When they originally installed this, they originally put in Advisor Advanced buttons, but for some reason shortly after, earlier this year they replaced them with WiAPPS buttons, the successor to Advisor Advanced. Not quite sure why they did this, and it doesn't help how WiAPPS buttons are more laggy than Advisor Advanced. There were three other intersections with AAPS, which were still AAPS at the time of this video, but have since been replaced with WiAPPS as well. This is also my 1st time seeing the PedSafety logo on the button stations rather than Campbell.
SIGNAL INFO:
8" heads: Originally T/Con
12" heads: McCain (aluminum)
Pedestrian heads: McCain 16" with Leotek LEDs (originally T/Con 12")
Google Maps location: goo.gl/maps/By...
PLEASE NOTE: If anyone's face appears in the video and would like to be blurred-out, please let me know, and I'll try my best to do so. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
You forgot East 38th Street and pine avenue
I haven't done that one yet. Maybe at some point.
What are the single section signals for? Emergency vehicles?
Something like that. I think one time I saw one flash when an ambulance was going past. They're on a lot of signals on bigger roads in PA.
@@pgherieapstraffic2007 makes sense! Thanks for the info!
