- Best Trucks Under $5000
These are the best cheap trucks for under $5000. These cheap trucks are durable, fast, and look really good. All of these trucks can be found for under $5k, although some can be found for as little as $2k.
What’s your favourite truck ever made?
Velociraptor 6x6
@@oscarzr114 i wish they didn’t cost $350k to buy but theyre really cool
It hasnt been made yet but if I could design one, id make a modern el camino body style.
Style:
Id give it a Porche Rallycar kind of vibe with 2 options: An extended cab wit a longer bed or a crew cab with a shorter bed.
Powertrain:
(Since this is a pipe dream) It would have the Koenigsegg Gemera hybrid setup that uses a patented 2.0 liter camless 3 cylinder twin turbo, mounted between the 4 seats underneath the body, that makes 600 hp to the front (I think), and uses 2 electric motors in the rear that make 1100 hp making a total 1700 to all wheels.
(Real world affordable version would just be a very tamed version of this with like a small 4 cylinder ecoboost and 1 motor to rear making like 400-600 hp to all wheels.
Features:
It would have an adjustable ride height with ATLEAST 6" of travel.
Then it would have the following mode selections:
-daily driver mode (lower, calm, good gas mileage, comfortable suspension, etc.
- work truck mode: raised up 3- 4", a bit more power and torque and all that.
- Tow Mode: max torque, manually adjustable ride height to match the trailer, etc (like any other tow mode)
- Off road. Max ride height, torque vectoring and all that good low and slow 4x4 stuff.
- Race Mode: Droped as low as possible, suspension tightened, higher boost settings/tuning on the turbo ICE, and maximum power to the electric motor with launch control and all those goodies.
It would essentially be the quintessential have your cake and eat it too car.
You got your work truck for the week, your off road for the vacays, camping, whatever, a family friendly vehicle interior (crew cab option), and a sports car slaying track beast. ALL IN ONE.
Options:
And it would have a ton of options that are similar to what rivian has like AC outlets in the bed, a frunk (EV only model or if we could get the gemera tech licensed then the motor is under the cab anyways), the standard off road style add ons if you want to lean more truck then car and vice versa so the options would be absolutely massive.
Assuming the look/feel of the thing was right (which if it were designed by me and a group of badass designers like Pininfarina, I would spare no expense until it was timeless), I think this thing would be a smash hit.
But the main idea would it is affordable for the working guy and customizable to the point of 6 figures for the deep pocketed buyers who want to make their perfect version.
If I was ever able to do a car manufacturing start up, this is what I would start with.

Tacoma under 5k where tell me 😭
Florida there's like 4 that are all under 5k one 1k
Ones with 300,000 miles with rust holes everywhere and the frame is about to break
There's tons in my dreams
Thanks for the video I really appreciate it 🎉
i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 gasser and i love the thing, has a 76k miles and i only paid 3600.Has no rust, and i recently just put a 6.5 inch rough country lift on and a set of moto metal 18x12.5 on 35s.Definetly recommend as a first truck but just hard to find in good condition.
Such cool vehicles for sure, i kinda want one with the 5.9
I’m looking at a 2000 dodge ram 1500 5.9 but it needs a new transmission and is 2k Canadian, how’s the fuel consumption?😢
straight to the point good audio and background music isn’t stupid loud great video
thank you so much
Straight to the point
I try to keep all my videos straight to the point, long intros are annoying
the 12th gen f150 is iffy in price. 09-11 you can get for $5k with high miles and rust. if you go into 2011 and newer with the ecoboosts and coyotes, you’re looking at easily $20k+ for good condition
I got my Ecoboost for 700 sold it for 11k now in here trying to find a replacement 😅
got new 1984 F-150 4.9 4 speed/with granny short wheel base had it 21 years and 540,000 miles when i sold it
I saw other videos that say keep away from Ford raptors 4.0 v6 but you recommended I don’t understand
Never call the ford 4.0 reliable. I'm a ford fan but the chain guides are made of plastic and when (they will) break you have to pull the motor to reach the ones in the bqck before it jumps time and grenades your engine.
$10,000 plus in west Texas
Just to be clear, that wasnt a ranked list like from best to worst, but just the best 7 choices right?
7 best, in no particular order
If you like taking rides in tow trucks go with the dodge
Lol
What sites can you look at these trucks
marketplace, kijiji, autotrader
Nissan frontier!
Which one of them has bigger bed size
Not sure honestly. A full-size truck like an F150 would have a bigger bed than for example a Ford Ranger, but I’m not VERY knowledgeable on trucks as I prefer them for looks and engine power over pure practicality. I’d say your best bet would be an older F250 or F350 if you’re looking for a big bed
I liked the Toyota Tacoma and the Chevy Silverado
i agree the silverado and tacoma are honestly the two best on the list
@@CarTireAuto They arent under 5000 unless they're junk smh
Where do you find these vehicles on 5k 😂😂
If they have 200,000+ miles and rust 😂
Here's my list for under 5k
1. Ford ranger
2. Dodge Dakota
3. Higher milage tundras
4. Silverado
5. S10
@@xVoidVR now that's a realistic list! Awesome. I ended up buying an f150
@@MixedMedia33 nice! The f150s can be hit or miss depending on the year. I'd avoid the 1997-2008 ones unless you're ready for the spark plug issues, but otherwise they are great trucks

2nd gen tacoma with a 4.0 under 5K??????? uh doesnt exist
It does in canada. There everywhere here,
I want a tacoma that's under 5k need to upgrade my forester to something bigger. If a truck not a 4x4 waste of money.
Where to find tacomas under 5k? Is my first vehicle
I’ve got an s10 I’m selling for 3500 it’s got 160k miles
Where u located
Tacomas are always rusted
FOOOORRRD FUCKING RAAAANNNGGUUUURRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
murica. amen.
You ain’t finding a Tacoma anywhere near 5k, even if you could it still ain’t even worth that 🤣 but the brain dead fan base prices them extremely high
Under 5K money or miles?
Are you for real?
@@inagoodschmude9550 bro, they weren’t being clear.
its very obvious nerd
@@socramzilos no it’s not, they didn’t show any vehicles under either.
