the fact that Shady and Joy are the ones vouching for Ceedee is almost unbelievable. the way the media keeps moving the goalpost for cowboys players never ceases to amaze me. Everybody was up in arms when Cooper Kupp who prior to the 2021 season was NOWHERE near being called an elite WR. McVay figured out a way to constantly scheme him to get open and put up those numbers and when he did ppl were saying considering him as the best or at minimum a top 5 WR cuz of his production. nobody questioned if his was a #1. Nobody questions how good Travis Kelce is but Andy Reid schemes him to get open. Nobody says it about Deebo but Kyle Shanahan uses him all over the place. Give the man his props and stop tryna change the narrative when it comes to Cowboys players

As an Eagles fan, CeeDee scares me more than any offensive player on that team. I did question whether he was a true #1 receiver, but the last few weeks showed me that he is. I disagree with his own opinion that he is the best in the league though.
Nobody said this about Cooper Cup. He was schemed by the top play caller and playing slot. He was top 2 a couple years ago.

In 2021, Ceedee played the majority of the time as the X WR after Gallup got hurt. Cedrick Wilson was in the slot that year. Ceedee still lead the team in yards. To say he didn't touch the outside when Amari was there is simply not true.

Ceedee put up 191yds on Philly🤷🏾♂️ since the SF game McCarthy has given Dak the greenlight to call plays. Dak made comments about getting Cooks involved more the week before and his first pass goes to Cooks in the Giants game. Cook's first game with 10+ targets and gets 173 on 9 catches and a TD on top of Ceedee getting 171 on 11 catches and a TD. Ceedee is open almost EVERY PLAY definitely playing the best rn. He'll probably be leading the league after this Panthers game this weekend😂 he's only back about 90yds

I’m normally with Jones but I disagree totally. Amari Cooper would disappear during pivotal times; CeeDee comes to play every, single, game. He’s a guy you’d want to go to war with! In respects to them “scheming” him open, that’s a testament to the greatness of McCarthy. There’s tons of coordinators who lack the creativity to scheme their top dogs open. Just because a WR gets most of his yards in the slot, shouldn't discredit him from being the number #1 receiver or elite. He also plays on the outside but is more dangerous on the inside.
Ceedee has more yards all purpose than AJ Brown in the same amount of games, and only 1 less total touchdown. To act like it's not a toss up right now is being disingenuous
CeeDee wasn't a number 1 until this season. he started showing the signs in longer streaks at the end of last season but this year he's finally fixed his issue of dropping catches. The main reason he's shining now is the scheming for him, not the schemes themselves but the belief in him to execute, he caused many INTs last year because under kellen moore the offense was no schemes but just go beat your guy. He would change his rout mid route or give up on balls. Now he's being told what to do and he's excelling at it because now he has confidence in his actions and doesn't have to overthink everything. CeeDee is at his best when he knows exactly where to be and where the ball is coming.

Lamb is a very good receiver. The fact that he gets most of his production against the other teams worst cornerback hurts his case for being an elite receiver.
