How to Transfer Data from any iPhone to iPhone 13

- You can easily transfer data from an old iPhone to a new iPhone 13. This works for any iPhone 13 including iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Max, and iPhone 13 mini.
To transfer your data, make sure your new iPhone is set as a new phone. If you already set it up after opening it, you need to reset it to its factory default.
Then, you simply need to bring your old iPhone and iPhone 13 next to each other. You will receive a message on your old iPhone to start with the transfer process.
If you don’t see that, make sure to activate Bluetooth and Wifi on your old iPhone.
Next, follow the on-screen directions and scan the on-screen prompt on iPhone 13 using your old iPhone. This will initiate the transfer process.
This process could take an hour or longer, so make sure both phones are charge or charging.
Once the transfer is done, you can remove your old SIM card and put it in the new phone. You can also reset your old phone if you plan on selling it or giving it away.
And it’s that simple to transfer data from an iPhone to iPhone 13.

Thank you so much for this very helpful video that has helped a 70 year old great grandmother to successfully complete the process of transferring data. When I bought the phone, the "tech" people at Target were supposed to do that for me, but after almost an hour I was told it was taking a long time because of their "overcowded" wifi, however, it would finish the process when I connected it to my wifi at home. Well it didn't. I checked a few videos but yours was the only one I found that addressed the issue of partial set up! I was at a complete loss as to what to do until I found it! Thanks again.

Fantastic! Brilliant! Excellent!!! I previously tried to transfer from the icloud back up. It took three or more hours to back up from the old trusty horse iPhone 6s and then still the Messages were incomplete and none of my apps were transfered. Pain in the b...t! So...!
I followed this video and it seemed to work perfectly! it basically mirrored everything, and I am mean EVERYTHING, to the new iPhone 13 Pro Max. But the transfer of at least 13 GB data took only 9 minutes!!! Don't understand how and why so fast but that what it took! Thank you so so much!!! This transfer work on my iPhone 11 to my new iPhone 13 pro. Only took me 20 min and the only thing that didn't get transfer is my call log other than that everything transfer and I'm ready to go. Thank you!

Followed your setup exactly as instructed. My new iPhone13 keeps telling me it is looking for nearby devices. My iPhone 10 is next to it (fully charged) with bluetooth and wifi turned on. Why is it not working??
Was just trying to do this with my mom's iPhone SE and her new iPhone 10S something or other. lol. Couldn't get it to work. Maybe it doesn't work with really old phones (even though everything I read said it should, lol). This was a nice vid, though! Good to see that it's not too bad once the prompt actually comes up (which is what I was having trouble with, lol)!

You should stydy facts first. Very good video, but NOT for ANY iPhone. Only newer ones with iOS17 +.

Hey I have a question when i try transfering over to my iphone 13 it asks for the last 4 digits of my social security number and then when i type it in the touch screen number pad gets stuck and i can't exit leaving the touch screen number pad up there and i can't move on into the next step?
