Jeannie Gagné demonstrates the importance of both mental and physical preparation for singing a pitch, and what happens with your breath when a pitch is out of tune. In addition, you’ll learn some basic interval workouts to help you match pitch.

Jeannie is a world-class vocalist who has been teaching vocal lessons and performing for more than three decades. She has sung with Philip Glass, Cher, toured with reggae legend Frankie Paul, and opened for Barenaked Ladies. Wow! She knows her instrument so well; being able to be purposedly out of tune isn't as easy as it looks. I think I will aim at having more confidence, but I wonder if too much technique gets in the way of emotions...
It's easy for me! Lol. I've been told I'm typically out of tune. Consistency is tough! It seems I'm either too confident or too shy, depending on the song.

It is a great one off guide for improving singing skills without the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my best friend Jordan after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.

Would you be interested in making a video that plays lots of different people making a middle C or E, one after another, quickly and separately, so we can focus on hearing the timbre and vocal tone over the intended sound. I think it would help in zeroing in on some of those finer qualities in learning to make sounds that are fuller or richer, or some indefinable qualities that would be illustrated in such an example~
are there certain words or letters that are best to practice matching pitch with? For example, I sings "Deeeeeee" and my tunner is pegged out on E somewhere in the 390 range. When I then try to match that and sing Eeeeeeee, I think I come up with an A or A#. Do Rey Me Fa So La Tea - is just all over the place. So I guess my question is how to practice that, my goal is to be able to sing at a 5th or a 3rd of what my buddy sings at when we play guitar. I believe I am a tenor - at least that was what my piano teacher said.....thanks
