- We only got a pre-ride in and weren't able to check it out again that day, but we're going back
We need to get the rock garden ladder (towards top), log jump, road gap, dirt cannon and last step-down so we can check the box
Then we need to put it all together in one coherent run

150mm plenty brotha take good lines and you'll be able to ride it all! That bike is very very capable
Dude appreciate it Tyler!! If does seem like from time to time we are all over biked. Glad to hear you say it's enough.
@@ScottsMTB absolutely buddy
Fun process. Can’t wait to put it all together! 🙌
Damn right. I can't wait. We need to go back do a pre-ride and check off the 5 features of the 27 we did not hit. I like to count. :) So overall we did pretty good. Depending on how you count it, we pre-ride/did over 80% of the features.
Specifically the rock garden ladder at the top, the log jump in the middle, the road gap, the dirt cannon and the last muddy step down.
nice! and I've done that "over the berm crashing on the side not really sure how it happened but whatever... " LOL
Hahaha I can't tell you how glad I am to read this that it's not just me. I was like WTF!!! LOL
Scott out there just throwing himself at the ground for fun, lmao.
Yo yo Reverie 🤣🤣😎
smart enough to fall into the soft stuff though.....
🤣👍👍👍👍
About the same way my buddy and I went down this trail a few weeks ago on trail bikes!
And that U-haul truck WAS FLYING down that shuttle ROAD! 7:47 😂
Just subscribed to your channel - more MTB videos for me! :)
And yah glad to hear we're not alone. You and me are the only ones that noticed the UHaul, man, hahaha, he was trucking.
ABOUT TIMEEEEEEEE
Whoohoo!!!! 🤟
New road gap looks interesting… is it bigger/smaller then the other two step downs?
Bigger. Longer than Hemlock and Dark Hollow. Definitely need to clear it or it's going to be a spine crushing impact. You will hit it first time, no problem. I bet you look at it once and then go full send. We nearly pulled the trigger, but talked ourselves out of it. You know, end of day excuses.
Man the question I have is the dirt cannon. It looks like it dips you a tad before the booter. But overall mostly chill. What are your thoughts on that?
@@ScottsMTB it floats trail speed, we’ll built with a little tug, best advice is to follow someone in.
@@chrisburns460 cool will follow you next time if up there same time
Anne Springs……. Bwahahahah😂
Hahahaha!!! :)
Bro! I rode my hardtail on that trail.. hahah It was amazing! Stopped and learned each feature. Though, I never got to put them all together afterwards as I ended up not being able to ride the next day. haha I loved my hardtail for this bike park, but would have absolutely had a blast on my dh bike.. hahah
Holy crap just watched that video. Insane, love it. Glad you commented, just subscribed so I can check out more of your epic MTB videos!
You are obviously a much better rider than me. Sheesh.
I went back today and finished all of Stampede except the last 3 features. Getting there... :)
@@ScottsMTB Awesome man! I subbed as well!
And shit yeah, man! I cannot wait to get back down there with both my hardtail and dh bike to ride the whole thing! It was awesome riding each feature one at a time to learn them.. Still super bummed I ran out of time, though!
@@jordie00bogart totally. I want to see your videos of the whole thing on the hardtail and then the whole thing on the downhill bike. And then I want to hear from you the difference in the two. I'm just curious. And I'm glad to know that my bike will be fine on that trail at 150 mils of travel if you can do a hardtail.
@@jordie00bogart you see so many downhill bikes that you start to question in your mind whether or not you can ride your own bike down this thing. So I'm glad to see you've done it.
Anne Springs Drop? 🤷♂
Ah, inside jokes should be banned. ASCG is one of the easiest trails in Charlotte and surrounding communities, but there is a small drop to flat. We used that as a barometer for our jokes.
@@ScottsMTB Yeah- you have to work for any obstacles out there. I enjoy dropping into the old Mill Pond area. I know where you’re talking about, by the bridge, I helped establish that one. They kept blocking it off, but I think they finally gave up! 😂
@@walkerswild OMG hahahaha well I'm actually glad you helped make that happen because it adds some interest. Hilarious. Love that!
@@walkerswild Is old mill pond area where the toilet bowl thing is? I love that thing with those sketch off camber lines.
@@ScottsMTB Yeah man. I'll link one of my videos of that area here if you don't mind so you can see it! czcams.com/video/XPMBDohY1tw/video.html
That first clip is a great place practicing diving into something.
Is there a repair shop if you mess something up on your bike and don’t know how to fix it yourself?
Sure is Royal! That is a big reason I felt ok about doing this .. I knew I could get saved in a pinch!!
