    A little about me and this channel:
    My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
    What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
    Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
    Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
    This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

      @@jamesagwe2981 Yes, but I think that may have been after Rainbow. It was after Ozzy left. Their first album together was Heaven and Hell which is a great album.
      I worked with a guy that saw Ozzy's solo act in the early 80s, he has a story where they went to a record store and Ozzy was there to promote it. They asked him what he thought of the new Black Sabbath and he stomped his feet theatrically and declared he hated Ronnie James Dio.

    • @RayfordRaySiegel
      @RayfordRaySiegel Před 3 lety

      @Gerry C,
      I agree with NotANameist, because it's basically the same, but harder, though Dio and Ozzy are examples of being considered both Rock and Metal, showing my point. Steppenwolf, that was first considered Metal, is what most most fans of Rock and Metal consider just Rock, at least in retrospect. Metal might have some other influences that Rock doesn't, but even Black Sabbath, which is what Metalheads would most likely consider the first Metal band, admitted to having some Blues influence, which is a good bit of what Rock was influenced by.
      Most Metal bands are quite different than regular Rock bands, though. Some people have called Van Halen, which is my favorite Rock band, Metal, but I know that isn't true; they're Hard Rock, which is no put down, because Hard Rock is good stuff, and I hope he rests in peace, but Eddie Van Halen will live on.

But more than that his music tells his true story the millions who appreciated his music lost a truly great man when he passed but I am happy knowing he will live on forever in his music . Dio - The Last In Line (Official Music Video) -- czcams.com/video/360xvnsduDg/video.html
    Ronald James Padavona (July 10, 1942 - May 16, 2010), known professionally as Ronnie James Dio, was an American heavy metal singer-songwriter and composer. He fronted or founded numerous groups throughout his career, including Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio, and Heaven & Hell.
    Dio is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential heavy metal artists of all time. He is known for popularizing the "Metal Horns" hand gesture in metal culture and his medieval-themed song lyrics. According to a version provided by the singer himself, the act derives directly from the classic Italian apotropaic gesture, which his grandmother usually did.

    • @RayfordRaySiegel
      @RayfordRaySiegel Před 3 lety

      In the late 50s and 60s, he was also in bands, like The Vegas Kings Ronnie and The Redcaps.

    • @autumnphillips151
      @autumnphillips151 Před 3 lety

      Actually, the Italian gesture (which is either apotropaic or used to insult a man by telling him that he’s being cuckholded) is an entirely different gesture-it’s performed with the hand leveled or pointing down, or at least slightly downward, usually with a swiveling or oscillating motion, not with the horns up.
      The “Horns Up”/“Metal Horns”/“Devil Horns”/“Rock On” Sign of the Horns 🤘 was born from Jinx Dawson and her band Coven. Jinx would throw up the Horns 🤘 during every Coven concert, and Ronnie James Dio copied it from them after he saw them performing at the Rainbow Bar and Grill.
      Coven’s Sign of the Horns 🤘, which of course means “Hail Satan” (or just “Hail” to whomever you want to hail), is however very similar to the sign that Wiccans use to celebrate the Horned God and the “Hook ‘em Horns” that fans of the Texas Longhorns use to cheer them on.
      I’m grateful to Dio for popularizing the Sign of the Horns 🤘, but I do wish he would have credited Jinx/Coven and wouldn’t have misled people about the meaning of the Sign.

    Metal music is closer to the Blues than anything else. Just another genre of the soul expressed.

    I would say that music is an evolutionary process always in flux so with that said country, blue grass, and blues morphed into rock and roll which then morphed into a bunch of rock sub genres like Psychedelic Rock, Surf rock, Punk rock, Stoner Rock and Heavy Metal which now Metal has several sub genres like Thrash Metal, Power Metal (like Dio), Death Metal, Black Metal, Doom Metal, and so on ...long story short heavy metal was the heavier musical evolution of rock n roll
