Not only have I seen all these already, now I have seen a bunch 3 times thanks to you showing them twice on this video
Just some of the best old highlights in a newly released video I have seen lately.
Considering I was at the gane where Ullmark scored think I've seen it~
"but its moments youve never seen"... 90% of these were on every highlight reel when they came out
not to mention, some clips were played twice.
The most incredible hockey highlight I've ever seen was from a minor league game in which an attacking defenseman takes a shot from the blue line and a defender tries to block it with his skate. But the puck actually goes through the narrow opening in the blade, only a little wider than the puck, and it goes past the goaltender into the net. A one in a quadrillion chance of happening.
Just imagine the amount of lucky shots we don't get to see because they weren't recorded. Makes me a little jealous of those who witness them lol.

My response to your comment was written quickly and i mistakenly wrote "a million", which I just corrected. Sorry about that, but I stand by what i originally said, a "one in a quadrillion chance." I don't know why you're taking it so seriously, because my comment was meant to be illustrative, not literal. ;You can ask Mr. Spock for the exact odds.

I miss acrobatic goalies. You don't see too many pinwheels these days. I love today's game but I miss the early 2000s. Guys like Brodeur in their prime
Carey Price was pretty good with saves like this. In the 2021 Playoffs he made somes.
@GillesPaquet-Allaire price is one of my favorites. I'm a flyers fan so I hate to admit it but brodeur and fleury are in my top 5 of my lifetime. Hextall is my all time. He was gritty. (Not the mascot). I also miss bench clearing and goalie fights. That's the best part.
@@oddity4all2see Haha yeah, the good ol' time. I'm a Habs fan, I'm from MTL, but I'm a diehard Eagles fan, so I respect the Flyers because a lot of my friend are from there fanbase.
@GillesPaquet-Allaire oh nice. I really don't watch any other sports aside from skateboarding because I used to do both. I'm just getting into lacrosse. I watched a college playoff game and love it. But there's only one trophy that I care about seeing riding down broad street before I die. I want out of Philly. But I just can't move until then.
Hi Oddity, I’m with ya’, man. Been a Blues fan since 1968, and I’m a retired Beer League goalie. The modern goalie pads with the medial knee pad on the inner side have allowed goalies to wear the pads looser and the pads rotate to seal off the ice and 5-hole. Plus they allow goalies to slide laterally on their knees without getting up. The older pads didn’t do all of that and forced the goalies to get back up on their feet to move laterally. It also forced goalies to come farther out of the net to cut off the angle. In short, it forced goalies to be better skaters and more acrobatic.
I miss those days where the goalies each had different styles and didn’t look robotic and identical like the current ones.
You played Ovechkin's goal, Joseph's goal with the goalie out of the net miss playing the puck, Patty Blueger, and Markstrom's save against Winnipeg all twice.

The "save" by Murry was a goal. I'm not sure what they called it. I don't remember that game for some reason. But that was blatantly in. You could see almost the whole puck and his glove was almost completely over the line. If they called that a save, it's 100% "because Penguins". But it very obvious that it was a goal.
