Watercolor Painting on Yupo, a synthetic paper

This is a ten-minute video demonstrating basic painting with watercolor and Yupo, a synthetic tree-free paper. It is smooth and nonabsorbent, and allows you to create interesting effects! Try it and let us know in the comments how you like it.
Materials you'll need:
Pad or sheet of Yupo, available online or at art stores*
Watercolor paints
Small dish/plastic egg carton for paints
Brush
Blowdryer
*Start with a small pad. If you like it you can always scale up later. By the way, you can sponge off the paint and resuse the paper!

Can you use gouache on yupo?

Yes you can. With all water media on yupo if I'm exhibiting or framing, I usually use a sealant spray so the paint doesn't chip off.
