  • Alcohol ink is a fun, colorful medium for both beginner and advanced artists. Versatile and easy to work with, alcohol ink art is just as fascinating to look at as it is to make. Artist Jessica McGaw is here to share the basics, including her favorite tools, tips and techniques. Make your own alcohol ink abstracts to cut into shapes and incorporate into a collage ... or enjoy them exactly as they are!
Jessica demonstrates 7 basic techniques for applying alcohol ink to yupo paper:
    1) A palette knife abstract.
    2) A fade effect done two ways.
    3) A ring effect with a blowdryer.
    4) A foam brush gradient.
    5) A drippy ink technique.
    6) Using isopropyl alcohol to create 4 different textures.
    7) A textured gradient made with plastic wrap.

    Downvoted because of the music.
Tutorials are enough on their own with the voiceover.
The music alienates a lot of people.
There are many who will be triggered by sensory overload from the visual, voice and music.
It's such a shame because it's an interesting video.
If I, or someone else doesn't mention it, then video creators aren't aware of the problem and can't do something to help in future videos.
