Love these 200s - I had a 200 5e (non turbo) in Saturn metallic for a couple of years in the early 90s and I wish I had it tucked away somewhere as I would really appreciate it now
Also had a 5E. Miss it so so much. I have a Mk2 Granada now which is tremendous, but i'll always have a soft spot for these wonderful 2144cc powered motors. The fact they are so squared off is a bonus when every other Audi was about to become styled like a bar of soap. RHD are getting almost extinct, but there a few in Germany if you are prepared to make the effort. Lovely car this example. Enjoy
@@TheTimBushChannel Ill never forget the ott blue interior, and excess amounts of ashtrays; because 80's. I burnt my thumb on one of the cigarette lighters in the back haha
Not a lot of money considering what you got. I was gobsmacked by how clean the upholstery was in this one, like new. Don’t forget to subscribe please, thanks👍
Of course I’ll watch it)) well, on my channel there is a lot of content dedicated to these magnificent cars, I promote this culture and believe that Audis deserve to be iconic cars.@@TheTimBushChannel

Nice one Phil. If you look hard enough there’s a chance you might be able to pick one up. Go on, spoil yourself.
I had a RHD 200 5T in Silver on a W plate, a phenomenal car in its time
Thanks Lord Cameron, yes, a great car and way ahead of its time. A truly special car, build to last.
Don’t forget to subscribe, my Lord…👍🏻

Nice one. Great drive, more like a modern car. If you love an old Ford check out my other vids on the channel.
I grew up with one of these, my dad had one same X reg '82. Sold it in 2001 for £300. My god these are like hen's teeth now and probably worth £10k +
Nice one. It was great to drive, must have been really special back in 80s.

There are only about six RHD cars left
One currently for sale in Switzerland.. 102 thousand km ..injection only.. mint but €57750.00
@@stewarthumphreys8960 : everything in Switzerland is expensive. Especially by British budget standards!
BRILLIANT 👍🏼👍🏼
Many thanks Chris glad you enjoyed it.
They were priced at £13,000 on the road when launched in Britain. The right-hand-drive drive cars never had the windscreen wipers corrected for RHD.

@@TheTimBushChannel : not a lot in today's values, but in 1979 that was actually quite expensive when you remember what average incomes were.
