  • We did not film a lot because of the incident but I am still glad we got to see this beautiful piece of nature. Australia keeps amazing me and I am certain that there is more to discover. It really sucks sitting in bed all day, especially because i got back into dancing again at the Sydney Dance Company but hopefully I am better soon so I can continue creating my dream life.

Wow, sorry for your injury, that must have been scary and painful, but glad you're relatively OK... How gorgeous is Burning Palms? Went there many, many times back in the day, also Era just to the north and Garie to the south. But that walk down to Era/Burning Palms, the deserted beaches... Stunning! So glad you discovered this Sydney gem, but you know, I practically lived in Royal National Park growing up and young adult, literally hundreds of visits, picnics, swimming and camping, but never got to Figure 8 Pools. Karloo Pool near Heathcote was my go to... Enjoy the rest of your travels, get off the main tracks as much as you can. I'll be following your adventures!

You will be fine, this happens a lot. Always remember to never turn your back on the ocean, it will punish you if you do not respect it.❤

Good video and I love Royal National Park .I hope you are better now after being dragged by a wave . It can be dangerous there at Figure 8 pool . That is why you go there at low tide only . God bless you and enjoy your trip . There is plenty of beautiful national parks and beaches along the East Coast of Australia . Don’t just visit the major tourists attractions . You can see wildlife too ., such as in Hat Head National Park near South West Rocks . Enjoy your trip !

This is the reason you don't have your back turned to the sea. Freak wave can come anytime. But you you were lucky with just a few scapes.
