The road trip is over so its time to go back to work in Sydney! In this vlog you can see Mieke and I my adventure driving all the way back to Sydney from port douglas and how seeing my parents in Sydney made me realize i need to recharge again.

This vlog is a little chaotic because i had too much going on in the last week. I got back to work after being injured and therefore had to run all the errands in the last minute. But we did it and now I'm on the roadtrip as I am posting this and soooo excited to show you alle the things in the future aaah! I hope you enjoy!!!

We did not film a lot because of the incident but I am still glad we got to see this beautiful piece of nature. Australia keeps amazing me and I am certain that there is more to discover. It really sucks sitting in bed all day, especially because i got back into dancing again at the Sydney Dance Company but hopefully I am better soon so I can continue creating my dream life.

Moving into our apartment and buying our first ever car was very stressful but also so exciting. These have been the first big adult things we did and are also the first steps towards our big adventure.

Wow, sorry for your injury, that must have been scary and painful, but glad you're relatively OK... How gorgeous is Burning Palms? Went there many, many times back in the day, also Era just to the north and Garie to the south. But that walk down to Era/Burning Palms, the deserted beaches... Stunning! So glad you discovered this Sydney gem, but you know, I practically lived in Royal National Park growing up and young adult, literally hundreds of visits, picnics, swimming and camping, but never got to Figure 8 Pools. Karloo Pool near Heathcote was my go to... Enjoy the rest of your travels, get off the main tracks as much as you can. I'll be following your adventures!
Byron Bay lost its real charm 10 years ago when commercialism got in and the council added parking metres… Just another town with high unemployment and cheap drugs living off tourism and expensive accom and food!
Well done. If you travel back down, my mates and I first did this in 1974. Our favourite three spots from north to south were Angourie, Scotts Head and Seal Rocks. They are still right up the list bearing in mind Angourie had zero houses back then. If you reach Queensland, the ocean side of North Stradbroke Island should be on your list.
