Definitely do a bush walk at Royal or Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park in late winter/early spring to see the amazing spectacular wild flowers.

I have done the whole coastal walk a few times its about 34 kms. I once did it starting from Otford at 10.30pm and walking all night, to catch the first ferry in the morning. I have also seen brown snakes on the track.

RNP is the second oldest national park in the world, after Yellowstone, I think.

I've been there a couple of times in the last 6 months, you still see some knuckleheads climb over the barrier and take photos out there, Darwin award coming up for someone
