I don't want to show up and be then deported. I arrived in Italy from the U.S last March and was in Italy until the first week of June. I entered Spain without a stamp on my passport from Italy. Also, i have an indefinite Permesso Soggiorno in Italy, so i can legally overstay my visit in Italy, but Spain is another issue.
My wife and I need two things, one the NIE and the other a ETIAS. So how can we obtain the ETIAS without being afraid to have our identities stolen as I understand the ETIAS can be done online? By the way, how long does it take to obtain the NIE in Spain as we can only stay 15 days in Spain this year? What's more, we are planning to visit Spain as tourists some time this year, but I'm not too clear how to prove that we have enough money to be in Spain during our staying there. Do we need any documentation like bank account statements, credit card statement, and the fact we own a home in the US? Thank you very much for your video. 🤔 P.S. Do you not need a job in order to apply for a NIE number? I have read that you need proof of a contract to receive this, but then you also need a NIE in order to get a job. How do you go about this?

Back then when I was exchange student I had NIE number, if I wanna renew my number I have to go to the police station or go to the embassy? Anyone can obtain a NIE number. Remember, this is only the number being assigned to you, it is not a residency and does not allow you to live or work legally in Spain

Can I get a job with the temporary NIE and then become a permanent resident of Spain with that job as proof? (I’m an eu citizen)
