I am under astrazeneca's benralizumab injections treatment for asthma in the UK. I wonder if I could get this program in Spain.

I am thinking of moving to the area and am retired US Military with a 100 percent VA disability rating...knees, back etc. I will have a Foreign Service Benefit Plan insurance and receiving a pension. How difficult would it be to obtain medical care for this?

      Hi Erik,
Great question! I can ask the doctor to get in touch with you. Could you send me an email so I can forward your details to him?
      Thank you.

Please let me know if we have to wait for a long time to receive our services at hospitals. I hope it wont be as horrible as in Canada where people have to wait for months and even years to make simple operations and hope it wont be as expensive as in the US

Hi great video! I'm moving to Spain soon and I wanted to know how available are hospitals in Spain. For example if I live in smaller towns other than Madrid and Barcelona, would i still have access to an hospital in my town without having to go to Madrid?

      Hi David,
Thanks for the comment. You wouldn't need to travel to the larger cities for health care through the system. For example we are based in Javea and the closest none private hospital for us is Denia, which is a 25 minute trip from Javea. Depends where you're based of course, but I would imagine you would have a hospital close by. Good luck with the move!

Hi very interesting interview. I will be moving to Spain on a student visa. I'm currently on antiretroviral therapy. I am concerned about getting access to healthcare when i get to Spain. I dont know which region ill be placed but how easy will it be to continue my medication there please? I will have private insurance, does that help me?

Hi David, we are a real estate agency ourselves and did this interview with Dr. Landa to provide people in your situation with general information about healthcare in Spain. If you have any specific healthcare questions, I would recommend you to get in touch with a private hospital in the area where you are going to move to. If this is the Marina Alta, you can get in touch with Dr. Landa's clinic. These are his contact details:
      Clinica San Carlos
      Partida Madrigueres A-14, 03700 Dénia
      ☎ +34 96 642 71 00
      🌎 drlanda.es/
I hope this helps you and I wish you the best of luck with your move!
      Kind regards,
      Romy - Villalux
