I hope you read this, I work with many Mexicans and I appreciate your videos so much. If you can take some constructive critizism? Some things you rush over and some things you have fantastic examples of how to use certain phrases. I listen to this on headphones at work and can't see the board or rewind easily. I grew up in SoCal and spent 4 years learning Spanish. All of my teachers were from Mexico, and I'm just now trying to hone in on my Spanish. What I enjoy is that her channel is based on Mexican Spanish, so I already have the foundation for the language. It's easy to look up "Spanish lessons" on CZcams and realize that you're speaking a different form of Spanish. I'm not fluent with Spanish, but I can hang onto conversations when it comes to Mexican Spanish. Venezuelan and Puerto Rican? Nope. One or two words only.

It would be muchísimAS graciAS, it’s difficult because there’s a lot to explain to Spanish and she doesn’t explain it in these videos because it would make the videos too long but usually if you pay attention to the last one or two letters of the 2nd word, it will tell you how the last one or two letters of the first word will be like in the video where she saids “muchísimo trabajo” However though, that’s not always the case because somethings are naturally masculine or naturally feminine and somethings can be either feminine or masculine, for example, Buenos Dias, you would think that it would be BuenAS DiAS but there isn’t a masculine and feminine for dias because if you changed dias to dios, it’s a complete different word, dios means God or Lord.

Hi Butterfly Spanish, I just want to give you a huge THANK YOU. I'm in my graduating semester at CSU Sacramento in CA. At the end of February 2021 (couple months ago), I had a meeting with a counselor to confirm my graduating status and found out with I did not have my foreign language requirement fulfilled. It was too late to enroll into a Spanish class and so the counselor told me I would not be graduating this semester. That was heartbreaking. He said the only way I could get around this was to take the Spanish Proficiency Test (SPT) - there's no way I could pass since I didn't even remember my "to be" verbs or anything grammar. My family's from Latin America, but I was born and raised in CA and I don't speak Spanish so I wasn't completely ignorant on the subject- but the grammar and all that for sure I didn't know any of it to pass not even the easiest Spanish test online. It's been 13 years since my last Spanish class. My family- wifey, 5 children and my mom n bro were so excited (plus everyone at work who knew) that I was finally finishing but this was very disappointing and embarrassing. But I decided it was all or nothing and so I scheduled my proctored SPT for 4 weeks later at end of March. I discovered your channel in mid-March and with my Airpods at work listening to your videos (no seeing, no note taking while at work), for two straight weeks I did not listen to anything else (except for the "Que Hora Es" channel- I must thank him too). My mom even got used to your voice hearing it while she watched my kids as I studied on my days off. I became very confident when combining it with note taking and flash cards and when March 31st came I was ready for my test. It was proctored and I took it at 10pm at night and the next morning at 10am I got an email notifying me that I had passed the Reading comprehension and Grammar sections, which was enough to declare that I had passed the test!! I jumped up and down at work by myself when I saw that email! I was probably the happiest man alive that day. I officially am graduating college in 1 month from today because of your videos! Straight up. I am so thankful for you to put in the effort to help people you dont even know. THANK YOU SO MUCH I wish i could give you a big hug and my family thanks you as well. This was a huge victory for me in my life. I went from an August to May graduation because of your quality teaching, positive attitude, and smile. Thank you! You saved me months of time which is priceless.

I have been on Duolingo for months learning how to communicate with my neighbor because he is older and struggles with English. These lessons are sooo much better! I always worry about nuances or sounding overly formal and your lessons make it so much clearer! Thank you!
