- My home cigar lounge. Climate controlled home cigar lounge with smoke removal and comfort in mind. This room is self-contained and no smoke goes anywhere else in the home as its on its own HVAC system with an ERV for efficient air exchanges with a supplemental filtration system as well.

I am starting my new home and have a 20x28 room layed out for my cigar bar area / speak easy.
Its about 28.5' by 25.5' including the built ins on the back wall. There is also the little bump out where the table is that I didn't account for. I'll admit I kinda wish it were 10' deeper "for activities", lol.

Where did you get the skull from?
How do vent the smoke out and keep it from getting into rest of the house via a door or air vent??
So that door at the beginning of the video is actually an exterior wood door with a threshold, so smoke doesn't go into the hall leading to the rest of my home. The lounge is on its own HVAC system so no ducts are common to the rest of the home. It is running a Trane Clean Effects air system. I also have an ERV system installed which does 300 cfm of air exchanges to get rid of smoke while maintaining up to 80% heating/cooling/humidity efficiency. Finally I have a Rocky Mountain Air purifier to help supplement when there is a larger group smoking. This unit also has an ozone generator I typically run at the end of the night to help eliminate any lingering odors. Thanks for watching. Here are some links to the products I'm using:

Great smoke room ..I'm thinking about opening up a cigar shop and trying to see about how much it will cost ..could you maybe hit me with a on total cost so I can see where I'm at?
Oh man, I'd have no idea. This room was already here, I just remodeled and made it smoke friendly, added the humidor, kegerator, granite, etc. I didn't build it entirely from scratch. I've probably got 20-25K ballpark for the stuff I've done including mechanicals. But I'd imagine prior homeowners spent a lot to build it with all the woodwork, tray ceilings, travertine, fireplace, etc. Although, about 5 or 6 years ago I got a quote to totally finish out a 30x60 pole building with an 8x8 walkin, 2 bathrooms, bar, stage, etc. and the quote was 125K... we ended up selling that property and moving here. If you have a place already, your best bet would be to meet with some contractors and discuss the project and get quotes.

The fireplace was here before I bought the home and remodeled. It feels like real stone to me.

Its a little over 24' x 28.5' not including the little bump out where the table is looking out to the pool/courtyard. The fireplace and walk-in are also included in those dimensions, so you'd subtract that as well.

What do you do for a living man?
My wife and I have a project management company that deals primarily in signage and I do the design work. I've dabbled in acting and cigars as well but was never good enough at either to make a living, lol. But I do have amazing "house blends"!
