Disneynature’s “Tiger” will launch on Disney+ this Earth Day, April 22, 2024-exactly 15 years after the label’s first release, “Earth.” Also revealed today, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will narrate the compelling story, which lifts the veil on our planet’s most revered and charismatic animal, inviting viewers to journey alongside Ambar, a young tigress raising her cubs in the fabled forests of India. “It’s just wonderful to be able to be a part of something so special and to tell the story of this magnificent animal that comes from my country-I was very honored,” Chopra Jonas said. “I have always loved tigers and I feel a kinship with the female tiger-I feel very protective of my family. Ambar’s journey is something I think every mom would really relate to.”
In the film, the cubs-curious, rambunctious and at times a bit clumsy-have a lot to learn from their savvy mother who will do all she can to keep them safe from pythons, bears and marauding male tigers. Directed by Mark Linfield, co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz and Rob Sullivan, and produced by Linfield, Berlowitz and Roy Conli, “Tiger” is the groundbreaking culmination of 1,500 days of filming. Combining fast-paced action with remarkably intimate moments, Disneynature’s all-new original feature film streams on Disney+ beginning on Earth Day, April 22, 2024.

It really annoys me when people call lions kings of the jungle. Don’t get me wrong. Lions are awesome in their own right, but they don’t live in the jungle! In technical sense, as this trailer brilliantly states, tigers are the true kings of the jungle.
Something tells me the the lion will no longer have such a title
And you’re here crying on the internet about which cat is the real “king of the jungle” it’s in all honesty the jaguar. Now 🤫
I recently read that in Sanskrit, the term Jungle includes Savannahs.
It irritates me when people worry about which of the two is stronger, when they should be worried about saving these two species that are at great risk of becoming extinct.
King of the jungle is the mosquito. Either in number or lethalness. End of debate.

Tigers are my absolute all-time favorite animal species! My personal favorite of the species is the huge Siberian Tiger that lives in the winter environments of Siberia, Russia!

One of my animal characters, Tennac, he is Shere Khan's grandson. There's also the chipmunks Bafir and Japway as well as Basel the Bear.
The tiger is one of the biggest cats in the world. It's got the colors of a jack-o-lantern pumpkin and it's endangered. I know a lot of famous tigers: Shere Khan from The Jungle Book, Tony, the mascot of Frosted Flakes, Daniel Tiger, the title character of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and Diego from the Ice Age franchise.

I'm really happy Disneynature's still making movies. I remember watching Earth for the first time as a very young kid; I was hooked on it then, and I'm still hooked on it now. It just sucks that every movie after Born in China is stuck on Disney+ with no DVD releases. I literally haven't watched a single new movie since Born in China! Seriously, Disney, why not throw us DVD-enjoyers a bone?! But regardless, I'm really excited for this movie. Lions may be my favorite of the big cats, but I have a lot of love for tigers too, so this one's gonna be a great one.

Just finished watching this. What an awe-inspiring movie! Since the tigers are the apex predators of the jungle, I've always thought they could easily survive in the wild than any other animals. But no. It's not the case. Being a tiger especially a tigress, it's a game of survival. This film beautifully captivates the journey of a young female tiger named Ambar and her nurturing her new born cubs. The way she nurtures, protects and preparing them for the wild is truly impressive. Cinematography is top notch. It really captures the raw emotions of Ambar and her family. And Priyanka's narration is icing on the cake. Overall, this one is a must watch!!

They are both beautiful and strong, but the lion is stronger in any way from a tiger, courage, strength, body, character, etc. And lion also is 100% brave in every situation and is the symbol of strength. ❤
Both are my favorite cats/animals, but first, the place in my heart takes the lion ❤ I would also like to see a movie between these two animals.
Also, Priyanka Chopra is my favorite actress and singer. She makes the tiger look extremely charming. But the tiger is also by itself extremely beautiful and charming. ❤
