I like that he plays in Laval. He has to earn his spot in NHL. He is big so he needs bit longer. Hope Hudson gets couple games, will see how he plays the defensive side.
Popcorn will finally have teammates who can skate and handle a puck. EHC Kloten was a joke this season. I got the feeling he got sent back, not because Kloten was a good team to play with, but in order to give him time to adjust to the idea that he'll be leaving home for a while and not rush him into a whole new life too quick.

dont mince words . he was in a crap situation over there so now they have full development control with only savard and kovecevec in his way . i hope he and mailloux have a strong camp imo reggie jr cant ruin him in the few games he will get to coach him . win win i dont expect him to play even 10 games in laval next season . dont think mailloux will even play 1 gohabsgo
I dont know how so many people have so much faith in this kid. Is it his magnificent numbers?? Oh i forgot, he's a defensive defenseman.... lol. EXACTLY what we needed, some more D. So glad we aren't getting excited about Ryan Leonard, or Matvei michkov coming up. I wish i could see what everyone else seems to see in him, and be even the least bit excited in seeing him move up, i just dont see it, any of it, and dont say it's because i dont know hockey, ive played my whole life, and haven't missed a Habs game literally in over a decade. Time will tell, the only problem with that is, then all the Habs fans will be like, i knew he wasn't the right pick, why would they choose a defenseman? lol, blah, blah, blah. (Let the hateful comments flow, someone doesn't like reinbacher). It's one player, i just dont see any upside to him, not when we were already over-stocked on D, and lacking SO much in goal scoring. Kovacevic, Xhekaj, Savard, Struble, Mailloux, Hutson, Matheson, Guhle, Barron, Harris. That's ten, and im sure im forgetting a couple. We have two guys who have reached that elusive 20 goal mark, and one JUST hit it last night! Slaf is the 3rd highest goal scorer on the team, with 14 goals. Let's just play 6D all season, screw the forwards, and goalie. Sound good??? Sorry, i didnt mean to go on this long. lol.
@@DrewDekes I just dont expect him to go to a more difficult league, and do better, i dont know, maybe im just pessimistic, but that doesnt sound reasonable, obviously it does for MANY, MANY other Habs fans, I wish someone could explain it to me, because it just seems to be wishful thinking, and people hate me for saying i dont see the guy having a great career in the NHL, and again, i'm bassing this on his past performances, in MUCH easier leagues, and u can say his team sucked, well he's coming to Montreal, I hate to be the one to break the bad news, but we aren't a great team either...yet, but hopefully in a couple years. We knew he was wasn’t, there’s no room for him in Montreal. I don’t expect Hudson to play in Montreal either thus season

He literally just got here and we’ve barely seen him play, it’s far too early to say what he’ll become.
