- Hello!!
A friend and I decided to start translating (in Spanish) and uploading Milgram's voice drama for the Spanish community. This time we decided to do our bit for the English community, since we noticed that there was no video of Kazui's second voice drama yet. We hope you like it and support it because there really is a lot of hard work behind it...
The Spanish version is coming soon!
Cast:
ES - Amami Yurina
Kazui Mukuhara - Takeuchi Ryouma

Cant wait for the third voice drama and the fact he can hear the people arguing if his gay or not nakes thiseven funnier can't wait for what Deco*27 has planned
that would be so funny,, what if in the T2 recap Jackalope addressed that LMAO
Lol, Es might say "Dude are you gay" in his next voice drama XD (this a joke alr:')
You remember the Mu & Fuuta interrogation earlier this year where they were asked basically in other words "are you trans?"???? That was wild and I lost my mind anyways with this I think everything is possible I hope they ask "what do you think about gay people?" This time around so Amane can answer she like, hates them because the religious cult probably did, and Kazui answers "........................😐"
@@kiramyssuhomophobic Amane sounds so funny but I never considered how she probably is in fact very much a homophobe 😭
@@teo00907not necessarily, it's not a Christian cult
As someone who forced myself to be in a relationship because my friends and his friends was "harrassing" me over it. I totally get Kazui, he knows what he did was wrong, but he had so much mixed feelings that he didn't know what to do and how to do it.
So Kazui, a full grown man said that Kotoko was “something else”?? holy shit Muu and Haruka are screwed.
Here is my argument to this, as much as I believe Kotoko should be condemned for the rest of the series : She only attacked adults. She did not attack Amane to my understanding. Considering Haruka and Muu are minors, I don't think she would attack them.
Even if Kotoko doesn't attack Muu and Haruka due to being minors I don't think anyone from the prisoners can stop Haruka from yeeting himself after Muu got guilty. I think its inevitable for one or more of the casts dying due to conflict in the results of the trials (Haruka, Mahiru and Shidou are all in death row after the second trial lmao), and in the end, Es (us who voted for them) are the ones who'll end up being responsible for the deaths. So yeah be prepared for that. 😬
Can't wait for Mu's third interrogation video where she pins the blame down on Es for causing the deaths of the prisoners leading to another break down. Props to Mu for never failing to cause Es a breakdown in one of her interrogations. Go get them gaslight queen 💅✨️
You just vote her guilty problem solved
Even if we vote Kotoko guilty, that'd just leave us with less number of physically capable prisoners that can keep Mikoto (the only one who is capable of physically harming Es) in check.
Even if we vote Kotoko innocent this round, she can't really physically harm anyone else based on the assumption that she doesn't attack minors considering that those who are voted guilty are Haruka (17) and Muu (16) and the only ones remaining whom i expect to be voted guilty are Amane (12) and Mikoto (23). Mikoto will be the only one getting attacked and that's on our favor if we want to preserve Es' safety. Although there's that risk of Mikoto completely losing control over his alternate personality due to the amount of stress from being voted guilty and receiving physical attacks from Kotoko. If Mikoto does go on a rampage, that'd put all of the prisoner's safety at risk.
I don't really know what's the best course of action to take but these are the possibilities i expect to happen, so yeah, wild stuff. 💀
Edit:
I'm not sure if my memory is right, but correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think there's this rule where prisoners can't attack each other if Es is awake? Similar with how they can't attack Es during the interrogations (except for Mikoto ig)? I think this is why Kotoko was only able to attack when Es was asleep? At the same time, this can also explain why she wasn't able to attack Amane, because Es woke up before Kotoko could do so, hence she was only able to attack Mahiru, Fuuta and Mikoto given with the time that she had. In other words, if Es hadn't woken up in time, Amane would've been dead before the second trial. If this assumption is correct, then Haruka and Muu would only be more patients for Shidou to handle if Kotoko is voted as innocent for the second trial. 💀
I mean, we're not sure that voting Kotoko guilty in the first trial itself will stop her from attacking prisoners
...is nobody gonna talk about the fact that Es described people who act upon their sexual urges as a personal dislike
Well, Es is practically a reflection of us as an audience, and at the same time we're a reflection of society. The people behind MILGRAM seems to investigate a lot about what we like, dislike and think about the characters (this is more evident in jackalope's summary of trial 1), so, based on the "50/50" results and the comments of first Kazui's MV, they probably assumed that was part of our overall thinking. That dynamic is pretty clear when Es hits or yells at characters most people started to hate, but does nothing to those we began to empathize with. Or when Es started to make a lot of questions about abortion to Yuno (bc is a controversial matter, and like I said before, Es is like a reflection of us as a society)
Sorry, I wrote excessively 😭😭😭
...I'm voting to FORGIVE him. His whole character isn't wrapped around lies, it's DOUBT. Lies are the side effects...
Oh that’s smart actually! His life is filled with internalized doubt and slight of hand as he navigates his late wife and es. Man made so many illusions to make others happy (I.e. his late wife, her relatives, his childhood friend and even the other prisoners) to the point of making himself miserable and not being able to escape said illusions .
His whole character is portrayed as a Magician. Someone who diverts attention from themselves to perform tricks and deceive the audience.
In one scene in "Cat", a reference to "The Son of Man" painting appeared. A green apple covered Kazui's face.
Kazui admits he lied.
@@aureus3234what did kazui lie about
@@rainbowstory3333 apparently, his sexuality. I also think he is just lying about his whole personality. [ To explain other people's theories: People assume his lie was his sexuality, which led to his wife killing herself. Which is hard to believe thats the only reason. ]
This whole doubt thing is pretty accurate to Es which could be part of why this adult annoys him
All the theories about his crime is super cool to read, but I found it so funny that Es straight up just punches Kazui* hard as hell bro😭
But when he broke down, it was really interesting. Whatever he revealed to his wife which killed her was the factor for her death, not his crime. There’s something he has to hide but for certain reasons absolutely cannot tell.
Personally, i think his wife killed herself because he found out he's been drinking with another woman every night and that woman turned out to be someone he liked long ago. Nobody is really talking about the line "The curse of reuniting with you" in Half. No matter if its gay theory or straight theory. It's no question that he did cheat. I just believe it was his wavering feelings that made him seek comfort from another woman. At the end he told the truth to his wife and either she committed suicide or he pushed her off.
@@kagenou6833 I honestly don’t think he had interest with the other woman and cheated.
From a scene in Half where he was trying to comfort the other woman, on his 4th finger is his engagement ring.
Usually if you’re trying to get with an another person, you would not wear the ring to show that you are single. Because Kazui was wearing his ring, this means he doesn’t have any romantic interest with the other woman and is trying to be with her.
Hence I think that either the woman is there for a different purpose, if she was that important I believe she would’ve also appeared in Cat.
I've seen some people mention the staring thing, so I would like to give my take on it.
Kazui constantly makes reference to his age, how he's an old man and all that. He stared at Es after he mentioned how their views relate to how young they were, and we later hear Kazui admit he's been lying to himself since he was young and despises himself for it.
I think whatever comment Kazui had on Es' views made him reflect on his own life, and how the years made his views less idealistic. Thinking about when he started lying, why he did, what could've been if he hadn't lied in the first place, why he's unable to be true to himself, how he wasted his life being a liar, etc.
I honestly thought Kazui was staring at Es because of what Es said about how they don't like it when people act based on their sexual urges, I think this statement made Kazui reflect back when he was at Es' age and wondered if that's how his friends would've reacted if he came out to them at that age.
I'm not sure if I interpret this correctly but Es punching Kazui sure did answer the question in Kazui's mind at that time and that's why he said personal impression are scary.
Es literally gave Kazui first hand experience of physical assault rooted at homophobia
@@samalacha590 ohh yeah that makes a lot more sense. Damn that makes it even worse
@@samalacha590honestly Es just punches everyone I don’t think it’s that personal
@@teo00907 how does that make more sense then your statement
Es has clearly been lying to himself the whole program being freaked out at words like
"Who are you talking about"
"Just stop thinking"
"Are you Crying"
so having Kazui look at him thinking you poor bastard are either of us gonna keep from drowning
@@samalacha590I'm pretty sure Kazui staring at Es is trying to visualize how age affects the maturity of the brain and how cheating is seen. Somehow he believes his act of 'cheating with another woman' was validated due to being voted forgiven. now, why would es act this way if he was voted forgiven. I would wonder why myself
literally the gay theory is looking so true rn at first i was just hoping but now i’m convinced???
"i did think milgram would be able to force its way past that, though" > trying to use milgram to get past the internalised homophobia induced lies to come out by proxy sure is a choice here
"You didn't manage to reach my sin" - so on one hand he means literally his actual actions were not discovered, but i think in this case he's not just referring to the "murder" - i think he's calling his homosexuality a sin. THE sin, in fact, with the apple imagery and all :'(
This might be, Kazui hates the part he is hiding for the words [I can't be "normal"] he said in cat or the answer to the question of "What do you think about marriage?" He answer [It's good for social credibility and i thought it would change something], Maybe he was told a Lot of times that being gay was a "sin" so he has a big hard time hiding it for everyone...
Thank you so much ! He's my fav character and it's quite sad how he seems to be less liked than the others.
Half haters have been reeeeeeal quiet ever since Cat dropped
How close I am to this person is scary,. I know that feeling of not being able to stop lying. The moments you are truthful everything just shatters. You really do need someone else to pull you out of that hole.
I called it, he wasn’t cheating on his wife. He tried and failed. Men don’t usually admit they failed to hook up someone to hide infidelity, so I’m pretty sure he isn’t lying here. His “abnormality” that killed his wife could refer to him not being able to truly love anyone and lying the whole time about it 💁♀️ or it could be the more popular theory adequately referred to as “old man yaoi”
i love how they can hear the fans so hes gonna hear people calling him gauy
Yeah if this isn't definite proof for Kazui being gay I don't know what is. I can't think of any other explanation for the whole "I can't live unless I lie" and "That's just the way I was born" thing. I believe him that he didn't cheat on his wife. He just told her the truth about his sexuality and she couldn't handle that their whole marriage has been a lie. It's sad, but he didn't commit a crime. Vote this man innocent
Take a look at half but instead of viewing the lyrics as Kazui talking to his wife, think of the lyrics being towards a childhood friend, or the bartender, maybe they’re one in the same.
It seems to be that half was more about his closeted feelings, rather than his wife. It’s amazing.
There is no way it’s just that. I’m definitely sure there is more backhand info we don’t know just like Yuno’s situation, otherwise it would just be too easy to know what you’ll vote.
@@user-mo8li not necessarily - his case is similar to Yuno’s due to the political beliefs surrounding their cases stemming from Japanese opinions, not Western ones, where topics such as abortion and homosexuality are a lot more frowned upon. I imagine there’s a lot more shame on both sides than if MILGRAM had been made from an American POV, Kazui for just being gay and his wife for both the lies and being with a gay man (speculation).
Since he said that Es didn't reach his sin and implication of Kazui possibly cheating, Kazui has some strange moments in his clip where he talks to someone other than his wife.
In recent clip he saw a man with a green apple as a head through champagne glass and had a dialogue saying "Phew I'm drunk" "Hey what If I told you that I like you" possibly he may have cheated with another man at some point hence his actual sin could be related not to his wife but to that other person
And that bartender theory is nice too
This solution doesn’t make sense. If he was gay why would he marry a woman in the first place? Why would he crave her touch and affection? At least with Yuno there is a controversy about whether her actions were murder. And both Futa and Miharu were doing some action that was clearly wrong. Ignoring that he did marry her. If he was in fact gay and informed his wife about it, there would be almost no moral challenge in if what he did was wrong. It doesn’t add up at all. I support the LGBT+ community but there’s obviously something going on and people are just seeing what they want to see in the voice dramas and MVs without looking at anything else. I think he had done something else to his wife that pushed her over the edge.
I vote Kazui as FORGIVEN. Other than believing that it wasnt his fault that confessing his lies that caused his wife to die as the effect, but in all honesty, I get what it's like to lie and put on an act all the time to just be normal around others. It's...exhausting...and you really just want to be free to be youself.
The song TERATERA by WADATAKEAKI or the song Kitty by Tsumiki represents Kazui for some reason. Maybe IDSMILE by Toa or Lower by Teniwoha? I don't know. The's lies are tying him down, as his true self is also being tied down as well. These songs just popped into my head.
kazui i can be your male hinako

Crazy how everyone is focusing on Kazui's sexuality and the VD (where Kazui can lie freely) instead of the MV. It's also funny how much his tone changed when he found out that Es knew about his cheating.
To be honest, the whole "I want to be myself and have to keep lying" thing shows up in the VD and BOTH of the songs, so it's not like all of this is without basis.
even if he lied the mv would clearly show what contradicts the voice drama since it’s based on their memories and emotions and like the previous commenter said the lyrics + imagery of cat and half still fit in with this whole theme of being so wrapped up in his lies, acting a certain way to appear “normal”, and his wife dying after he makes an attempt to live more honestly.
I wish more people could know this and understand this. I wish for it dearly. This feels so entirely manipulative. Like he's trying to say what he thinks will get the best reaction. And lead Es To voting him innocent.
@@eeveelutiongirl9933It would be extremely unrealistic for him to lie about the action of his crime considering prisoners understand Es can and will see their memories to a certain degree, sure he might mellow his intentions but lying about the existence of the actual crime (cheating) doesn't sounds in character for him, who knows how to craft well thought out lies. He might be gay, might be manipulative, or a sociopath, either way, the crime isn't cheating nor a direct murder

After this VD, I'm convinced that a guilty vote is the best we can do FOR HIM. For his mental health. And sake of his dead wife too. We're not sure if he's gay, but we're sure his lies weren't good for anyone, not him nor his wife. He WANTS us to discover his lies, it's best for him to confront them. Do you really want to reward his mask, his lies, not real him with forgiveness? if guilty turns out to be a bad decision, we still have trial 3
also think of Kazui as the dad of two edgy teenagers from the guilty team 🙏🙏 giving him guilty can be so good 😔✊️
yeah, but consider No.9 and No.10, we don't fully know what No.5 has planned for No.10, and No.9 isn't restricted by the prison, don't really think that No.3 nor No.6 could stop them in their condition and No.2 didn't even intervent last time, so I think we have no option....
@@dibujugador6024metavoting isn't an option. Milgram never works the way we want it to, the creator will do their planned plot one way or another. That's why we shouldn't seriously decide "I'll vote x for y to happen in Milgram", we have no idea what will happen.
There's no way no10 will be innocent again too, and no9 doesn't attack when he's not in danger
please look at how being voted guilty "for their own good" turned out for amane and mahiru 😭 t1 guilty votes only had adverse effects on the prisoners' physical and mental health (and we've already seen this with haruka!!)
@@cutecutemizukithis way we shouldn't vote anyone guilty 😭😭
Amane case is a bit different, isn't it? Always has been, she's a kid.
Kazui is a liar who thinks it's truth and not lying was a sin. As much as I hate Kotoko's attacks and Mappi's and Fuuta's suffering, Fuuta seems to have realized where his crime was after our vote. After that fragment 14:25 I belive we can do same with Kazui.
Voting him innocent the first time had him take off his ring though. It feels like voting him innocent itself allowed him to be more honest with himself, given that him telling the truth is punctuated by him taking off the ring. Voting him guilty will probs have the exact opposite effect, especially considering what happened last time someone was voted guilty for their own good
I believe the theory of him being gay, but I don't forgive him. From his POV, he was suffering from having to pretend to be someone he's not due to homophobia, but he still used his wife as a shield of sorts from that. Even if he loved her as a friend, knowing that he never loved her as a wife, was never actually attracted to her, and effectively used her to hide from himself was enough to drive the wife to her death. Sure, some people marry as friends or as "beards", but in that kind of case, both parties are aware of the situation. He passed his own suffering on to an innocent person, and that's not right.
So he should've continued to lie to his wife, and end up completetly crushed by his own life for the sake of someone else happiness is what you're saying?
@@corrinthechocolatine4025 we still don't know how she died, so if he telled the truth, that wouldn't directly be related to her dead... Krant
@@corrinthechocolatine4025No but he shouldn't have proposed to her knowing damn well he would hurt her in the process by lying to her. He was fully aware of the consequences but would rather use an innocent person as a sort of cover up than just saying "Fuck society" and get a boyfriend. Ik it isn't that easy and that he was being pressured. But is it really much better to marry someone you don't love for the sake of living up to society's expectations and end up hurting her inevitably in the process by lying to her or accepting that even though society will never accept you for who you are at least you aren't hurting anyone. What I'm saying is that they're both hurt and are victims but Kazui's pain is caused by an entire society causing him to end up hurting Hinako. At the end of the day. What he did hurt Hinako and was wrong. He led her on to something that isn't real and that's exactly why I'm voting him guilty.
@@kentonishimura69 While I do understand how Kazui is partially guilty for ending up in a marriage without informing Hinako about his homosexuality is wrong and unfair, but to judge an individual's response to their environment for the sake of preserving their own safety as something wrong is to deny how the system of society's own structure plays a part in the story and how it fails to recognize the rights and lives of minorities.
@@user-nx8hx4mb1l that's fair. It's fair to hide your true self and not force yourself to come out and also to lie about it but I do feel like doing it to the point where you lie about a marriage proposal is a bit... Too much... If she was his girlfriend he used for a coverup I'd understand but she's his wife... I feel like he might have taken it a bit too far and maybe a guilty vote will make him realize that...
So if it wasnt on the level of infidelity maybe it was an emotional affair or just him hiding that he was married. Maybe they got married way too early due to expectations of their age 🤔 idk im in the thought of considering the circumstances youre not always responsible for someone else killing themselves. Especially if the person is an adult - Kazui has issues but her not being able to handle his honesty and reacting that way isnt 100 on him.
hey guys I have a question.
how sure are we that the punishment won't get worse for the guilty people I took a look at the voting results and saw both Haruka and Muu are guilty. people think that they are going to be just restained but I think the punishment is going to get worse and Huruka is going to kill himself
The real question is.. will you let those punishment control your vote? If that's the case then why don't we just vote everyone innocent to avoid harm for everyone. I would suggest voting by what you believe in- truly. If you see them as terrible people then vote unforgiven and if innocent then vote them forgiven. Say, someone gets killed.. don't feel bad. Perhaps it was destined? In one way or another maybe the creators had it plotted all along. Just watch the world burn with me friend. Lets unforgive everyone- bet everyone will live. Sure will be a spectacle to see, don't you agree?
Haruka already got voted guilty, the voting period for him already ended a long time ago, and Muu's voting period ended as well, their guilty verdicts can't be changed.
Spoilers for the novel:
Milgram has a novel, in the first novel, there're different cast of prisoners and a different Es. There's 5 prisoners, some of them are already dead irl, while some are still alive but all of them are connected to each other's stories and so is their Es. Novel Es is relatively more of their own person compared to the youtube version of Es who is more of a proxy for the audiences' votes and voices because novel Es is the one who judges the prisoner's sins.
Their trials are also different than the youtube version, they are all gathered in a round table and they have a book of sins which gives the prisoners back their memories of their crimes when its their turn to be judged. During their trial, all the prisoners and Es hears of their crime and are free to discuss between each other whether they're guilty or innocent, however the final verdict is dictated by Es, same rules apply, Es judges the prisoners whether innocent or guilty, another difference in the novel is that the prisoners get killed when the Es in their version finds the prisoner guilty. Novel Es is also judged after the trial of the last prisoner, novel Es was implied to have been guilty, thus killed, and the only innocent prisoner was the one who became the Es in the second novel which isn't released yet if i'm not mistaken.
I think in the youtube version of milgram, death sentence would either be (1) given to those who are guilty ONLY by the third trial, (2) or the number of guilty verdicts would be tallied from first trial to third. So if the prisoners have a total of 2 guilty verdicts, they're killed while those who have 1 or less guilty verdicts live. (3) Or if the writers wants to be an ass, only those who are innocent in all three trials are the ones who live (Yuno would probably be the only one who lives and become the next Es lmao)
@@kagenou6833voting everyone innocent to avoid harm is not the opposite of voting in what one truly believes, it is possible to vote with the belief that milgram has no right to detain, pass judgement, or punish, and maybe that prisons are an inherently flawed construct, and also judgement is not the prerequisite for redemption etc. many possible beliefs there that aren't about condemnation
Know I'm wondering who Kant

In "Half," we see him a few times at the bar with a woman that definitely isn't his wife. So idk why people think he's gay. If he is, Migram has done a poor job of laying hints. Lying and self-loathing are not an LGBT exclusive trait. He could just be a compulsive liar bc of how he grew up. He said he experienced lots of violence. And he seems to be something of a conman (even if not literally) in "Cat." There really isn't any proof he's gay. He could be, but we don't have any real reason to think that.

I’m really not sure why kazui is being voted innocent. It seems he was in the marriage only for money and greed and if his wife unalived herself after being told the truth she probably would’ve been in a bad mental state already so kazui should’ve known about the consequences
Edit: I feel like thinking about it more I get the innocent side, I’m probably voting him that now but his case is so confusing dyiwnzgwooqhqikxnhw
I'm a little curious: why do you think he's in it for money/greed? I don't really think money is a part of his character - It's probably more just his desire to be loved and/or sexual fulfillment. Or having to keep up a status as a man in society (get a wife, get a good job, etc).
@@graegrape not the most concrete theory but my idea is that the references to greed and stuff may imply that he only married for money and didn’t love his wife romantically but at the same time desired for an actual relationship
he did crack and now he's gay rip 😢😢😢😢
@@LanieMae that's fair! i'm surprised that none of the milgram characters so far have explored the concept of money so it might be plausible. I personally think "greed" is more used in a symbolic sense/implying he considers his cravings for affection greedy and selfish.
In Yuno's second trial interrogation question number 18, she was asked which prisoner was most like her. She answered it had to be Kazui.
If by any chance Kazui is benefitting from his marriage with Hinako financially other than escaping from the social pressure of conforming to the societal standards of the heteronormative world, what made Kazui so guilty for being greedy for wanting to marry a person he could benefit from and Yuno so innocent for having benefitted from receiving monetary compensation from contractual relationships from her job?
I have no sense of malice in asking this question, I'm genuinely curious of the answers others might have.
es is so annoying lol
that's a bullshit statement how is he annoying but everyone else is not
apparently your just pissed your DILF is not praised all the time
Take that back 👁👁
No
;---;..... everyone talking about him being gay.... I am sorry but after the staring weird moment at Es.... now I am considering him being a pedophile is also a possibility....
i have the same worries sometimes but when you think about it he'd be in actual prison and not milgram
if he was a straight up pedo then he wouldn't be morally gray cos there's literally no defending it
Personally I don't think so, I think Kazui was staring at Es because he might have come to some sort of conclusion about Es himself (hence why he said "I get it!")- to me it sounded like he was stunned into silence, or he had a revelation about Es.
To me, I think Kazui realized that Es' "personal dislike" of people who act on their sexual urges in an unlawful or immoral manner could be directly tied to Es' own backstory- perhaps he was a victim of someone like that was younger, and Kazui had made that connection.
Then again, I literally just discovered Milgram a couple of days ago so I could be completely wrong or am missing some integral lore LMAO- but that's how I interpreted it.
That seems very far-fetched, no offense. I feel like if this were true, it'd be more hinted at in his MVs... besides, him staring at Es is directly after he mentions their age - "Maybe it was because you're so young, which is to say..." (he stares at Es). Comes across as more "well, because you're so young, you wouldn't understand the real world" and not "Staring at them because he's attracted to them".
Es only states they find his staring to be disgusting because they personally dislike Kazui. It's natural they'd find it disgusting because they still believe he turned to unfaithfulness to his wife and therefore find him as a person gross.
i’ll just say your take is interesting and move on
