- When you learn a little more of Kpop or even K-beauty, it is normal to learn more about beauty standards. And surprisingly, Korea has one of the most strict Beauty Standards. Many times idols are compared with these standards, but do they really matter? I want to show that standards are just that, standards, and beauty can come in all shapes and styles.

In my opinion Blackpink is the most diversely beautiful group. You can tell each member apart very quickly since they all look so unique. A lot of girl/boy group these days have members that look almost exactly alike, entertainment companies fault for looking for korean standards.

There's a difference between korean standards and personal standards of Koreans. Jennie is widely loved in korea but she doesn't fit the standards. The standards are big doey double lid eyes, tall-medium nose bridge, slim v-shaped jaw, tall height and pale skin. She doesn't have any of these but she's still beautiful.
