When you learn a little more of Kpop or even K-beauty, it is normal to learn more about beauty standards. And surprisingly, Korea has one of the most strict Beauty Standards. Many times idols are compared with these standards, but do they really matter? I want to show that standards are just that, standards, and beauty can come in all shapes and styles.

She didn't rank Tzuyu first bc of Korean beauty standards though, TCandler ranks based off facial harmony & popularity, Jin-Nana, a Korean actress, doesn't fit as many standards as Tzuyu but was the only one this decade to rank first place 2 times in a row in 2014-2015 & ranked first place for the 3rd time as most beautiful face of THE decade bc many people think she has incredibly good facial harmony which means her features work really well with each other. :)

Jeongyeon has my favorite visual in Twice. Her face, body and everything is very beautiful. She is very underrated.
Jeongyeon's visuals are actually very popular in Korea! Her fancams are getting the most views in South Korea and Korean Onces were pretty confused because she was so unpopular in other countries.

Dahyun is the most attractive in twice to me. She just has that unique look, idk what it is but ever since I first saw the girls, Dahyun immediately stood out to me - her raps, her dance, her confidence. She's just so beautiful.
I also don't understand what the deal is in Korea with double eyelids. Dahyuns mono eyelids are so attractive and compliment her face well.

Ikr they're not like other groups (not all, im not bringing other girl groups )that have the same face or same aura or vibe, and they're "flaws" make them more beautiful and unique
You have to JYP credit for having a good eye. He seems to have mastered the ability to spot and select what legendary Playboy founder Hugh Hefner branded “The Girl Next Door”. Stunningly beautiful girls with just enough distinct flaws or differences from the norm to make the viewer feel that they are someone approachable. Someone they could know or meet. Someone who might be found in their neighborhood. The flaws are what amplified the beauty and made them sparkle. Things like Sana’s slight over bite. Jyeongyeon’s slight under bite. Nayeon and Chaeyoung’s more distinct dental issues. Dayun’s slight squarish jaw and overall aura of chess club nerdishness. Momo’s shear dorky ness . Contrast them with other Kpop groups selected (and often surgically modified) to meet or achieve those precise Korean Beauty standards. And they almost all have this surreal artificial look to them. JYP has a rare gift to pick performers that look and feel very natural. Very normal. Very approachable. And very genuine in the viewers mind. If you look at NiziU you see much the same thing going on.
And they look more goddess with that imperfections to the beauty standard

When I first saw Jihyo I was shocked by her beauty. I'm Korean but I've never been to Korea. I didn't really consider Nayeon to be that pretty until I finally opened my eyes. I was the most visually attracted to Sana and considered her the prettiest but I changed to Tzuyu. But all of them are really really pretty, and no hater can change that

Jihyo is SO SO beautiful! The Korean beauty standard may not fit her that well, but the rest of the world (especially the west) appreciate her beauty Way more. Her tan skin is absolutely gorgeous and vibrant, her big eyes give her a dreamy look, and her body is GOALS!!! She looks very fierce but also very cute at the same time. Idk Jihyo is just perfection.
Oh and in my opinion nayeon's body doesn't seem like an hourglass for me it looks like an inverted triangle because her shoulders are wider and her hips mostly accentuate only whenever she puts her weight on the other side. I think it's just because of how the stylists dress her up, very tight on the waist and kinda loose on the hips.👁️👄👁️

1. Proportions: This is a big deal not only in Korean beauty but elsewhere too. It doesn't matter height as much as proportions.

They’ve all got different appearances so I think that more people would like them as there’s more room to cater to people’s preferences
The thing is that their uniqueness is what makes them so beautiful and special, because in other groups where every single member fits thr standard, in the end they all just look too simiolar that it's hard for me to get to know them and their personalities. TWICE having such unique looking members really helped me get into them and understand their quirks much better. Hope it made sense

To be honest, except for Jihyo, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, other members complexion are relatively on the same level of fairness(?) But it's a different case if you compare them to Dahyun, because her skin is obviously the fairest.
As for Jihyo, she does have fuller chest and smaller hip size. But, she has pretty defined waist, thus she fits inverted triangle better than an apple body shape (considering that apple shape people are identified by having not so defined waistline).
And I'm not sure how you decide whether someone has v-shape jawline or not, but I think Jeongyon does have v-shape line.
