Like flame to flame
Your body against my body
Warm hands and warm exchange
You touch me so softly
And cautiously
Like you're afraid
Like it's all you've ever dreamed of
You say you feel closer
Than anyone has ever let you go
And I say nothing
Because I know
I can feel your anticipation rising
Just like mine
And I'm just... high
Your love is a vibe
All I want us to do right here
Is take our time
Like clouds
The hours quietly float by
And we
Like two angels
Suspended
Embracing in the sky
Existing on air
Entangled in each others wings
Exiting all that is now
Marrying ourselves away
To a heaven elsewhere
You came prepared to love me
And I have waited
For as long as a man can wait
My soul
My company
My truth
My serenity
And not a day too late
I am ready to ascend with you
Unto that sacred place
You draw me out with such care
As gently as you draw me in
To your aura
To your eyes
To your lips
To your skin
If this is all a dream
Please don't ever wake me
Leave me right here
Content in this illusion
And let this stunning angel take me
As we both lay here out of place
Mesmerised in space
My eyes memorising your face
To take back down to earth with me
To dream of you
Just in case.
