#. Kinabatangan is the longest river in Sabah but the second longest in Malaysia. The longest river is in Sarawak another Malaysian region in Borneo.

@Max and Jacqueline not many people saw elephants. The last vlog I saw was by food vlogger and Canadian Luke Martin. That was like months ago. Even British Adam Radcliffe could not see them due to the rain.
I would say your trip was a success despite the rain. Cheer up. You saw all except maybe hornbills. Orangutan , proboscis, elephants, crocodiles. In Africa the safari is on land, here on water.

So lucky! We could hear them behind the tall grass and luckily they made their way to the edge 🤩
@@MaxandJacqueline You were lucky to see from the boat. Last year, a British tourist was killed by a pack of these elephants, wild life can be unexpectedly provoked when we step into their territory. 😢

I (Jacqui) traveled Indonesia for a month a few years ago but we haven’t been together yet! It’s definitely on the list but we’re not sure when we will get there. So many beautiful countries in this world to see how do we choose 😫

As long as i live i rarely see any white tourist in sabah.
We spent a few days in Sandakan and also noticed that there weren’t many foreign tourist around town. It’s a shame because it’s beautiful and the people were so friendly 🫶
