Initially watched this due to Clickbait on TikTok, but honestly credit where it’s due. The reference to Khadijah RA was beautiful, and it takes courage to take ownership of one’s mistakes, I’m glad that he referenced his past in a dignified manner and acknowledged the efforts of Nadia, it takes courage. Glad that they are both in better places and I have huge respect for this brother, a lot of individuals don’t get past their ego to stand up forthright and say that they were wrong 🙏

People criticising the interviewer, I want to say mashallah , podcasts are always interesting, being unpolished adds to his character and the style of his show. I don’t come in the show and think I will get pierce Morgan or someone who has been doing this for a lifetime. The shows have all been engaging and served their purpose. I’d like to see others do what brother Kazim has done, not only in the show but in his general life. Keep up the good work, the only chance miserable people have in life to find a little bit of joy is by harshly criticising others. interviewer is someone that makes me proud to have him in our community.

I have to agree. He mentioned his dad’s passing and not being able to attend the Janazah and it seemed like you weren't listening and just threw that information over your shoulder as you jumped straight back on the beating questions. It's the lack of empathy and also interrupting before he has finished a sentence. Just saying from a viewer's point of view! 😩

I watched this whole video because I'm familiar with the work of Rizwan Hussein and upon reading the comments here feel I need to comment. Brother Kazi spoke to Brother Rizwan on a level that he felt comfortable with and brother Rizwan responded in an appropriate fashion. Those who are criticising the interviewer and even going to the extent of assuming his intentions should perhaps hold back. Many a people say something with the smile or a smirk but it would be foolish to jump to attacks on a person's ability to empathise - or lack therof, because of the smirk or smiles. May Allah grant us understanding.

Almost every comment below, and on every platform that this video has been shared criticises Shafiqur's interviewing techniques. And all your comments say you will learn from this mistake for next time. However, decorum, empathy, clarity, conversational skills and the ability to have questions organised in a methodical approach cannot be learnt by the time you post your next interview. One would have thought you would have brushed up on those skills when preparing for an interview with a renowned TV presenter!! I hope you take heed and give Rizwan bro a call to apologise for your diabolical interview skills, that would be the sensible thing to do. Imagine driving home that evening after being interviewed like this...shame on you.

If you have seen his other work and interview's outside of this channel@ he remains the same smiley person. Its not appealing to watch a frowning presenter at the end of the day and i think he doesnt anticipate the answers his guests will give and therefore a smile remains on his face.

However Kazi bhai, i say this with the upmost respect. Please get some media training on how to conduct interviews. The bit about barrister Rizwan being unable to attend his father’s janaza was upsetting viewing, and you seemed to show a lack of empathy and quickly brushed over the topic. After watching this guy shafiqurs documentary on T.V I was mad impressed and had crazy respect for him. But after following him for a while on social media etc… I realised he is not that impressive as was shown on the program. I picked up a few pointers even on the documentary such as A) how he handled other people’s money B) the business plan & structure C) the execution of the plan he did have and the appointment he had with the airport owner and his outrageous demand and many many other things infact, and so on & so forth.
but all of those things I put it up to inexperience and he will mature in his business knowledge & experience as he grows but after watching this entire podcast channel of his I have come to realise that this guy just got lucky with Sunnah Musk, persisted just long enough that when the right time & opportunity availed itself to him & his family they were there to take advantage of the situation, and infact it is not he who should be taking credit for sunnah musk but instead his younger brother, if anybody, it is the younger brother who is the entrepreneur in the family.
SHAFIQUR IS ACTUALLY A COMPLETE WASTEMAN.
NO SKILLS AT ALL & COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS TO HIS SURROUNDINGS.
NO wonder he fell out with the other Bengali brother that was on the TV DOCUMENTARY with him, I HEARD SHAFIQUR SHAFTED HIM, took advantage of that Bengali brother BIGTIME.

The interviewer did a very poor job- he showed no empathy, patience or understanding. Most parts he showed no interest or engagement. Why have a guest when you’re not interested. Very disappointed watching this- made me uncomfortable many times.

This was a great interview and we really got to know more about Rizwan bhai outside of his work from tv fundraising, God bless. But br Kazi, I think you need to be a bit more careful with the way you approach a question where someone has experienced something very traumatic. There needs to be more empathy shown from your side as an interviewer. Especially from the airport segment, you seemed a little excited and were rushing br Rizwan to give you answer. I can appreciate you have time constraints, but certain things need to be dealt with more sensitivity and care. Nonetheless, it was still a very good interview. iA it'll be better next time. 👍

First of all I'm a new viewer to your channel, this is the second video I have seen of yours. Like a lot of comments have said, you need to improve on your interviewing skills.
When Rizwan spoke about missing his father's funeral you didn't even bother asking about it, you just went back to the case. Total lack of empathy, also your English seems very basic it's like a teenager speaking.
    -Edit-
Brother just seen the bit where you ask him "what things annoyed her about you" and you said that with a big smile, did you forget that he's talking about his ex wife?... Your acting like it's a joke.
