i love gorillaz but im not a big fan of the album, i feel like the songs are either bad mids, and some are bangers

If I'd've bought the standard cd I'd've been miffed that additional tracks they'd been sitting on emerge a few days after the release date. Thankfully I've got the 2cd version of Song Machine, which includes some great tracks & features that didn't make the cut for the standard SM. This time round I've got the vinyl, so time/space is always an issue and so it's never a bug bear that there's extras as you can only ever fit so much on each side.
No kidding, but its actually kinda nice

I don't think they all do, just the ones that give up. Radiohead and TOOL also stayed good, they just take forever to release something now because their standards are so high. I hope Gorillaz take a decent break soon, maybe finish this trilogy and then disappear for half a decade working on a bigger project. These past few albums have been fun but they don't reach the scope of Plastic Beach and Humanz.
