At 3:22 & 4:26 the camera shows briefly, then is redirected away from, something that looks like statues and candles in a pile. What are these things in the subterranean tomb?

Its just big Candles Patricia. Some People in Orthodoxy take to Churches Big Candles and make a wish to the Saint (To Heal a Sickness Usually ). All you see there was Candles with different shapes.
