You have an amazing ability to video yourself in these surroundings and make your viewers feel as if we are actually there with you. I was spellbound when you went out in the dark to listen to the wolf sounds and I did hear it! I can only imagine the thrill of actually being there in person to experience it. I think your talent could be used in film-making on a much bigger scale, which would likely make you a very wealthy man. History is one of my favorite subjects. Stone will stay for ever, or almost for ever, but far longer than we could imagine. I am in the United States our oldest houses are a couple hundred years old, but made of wood and plaster. Some of the older cities with buildings made of brick still will not stand as long as the stone pulled from the earth and stacked like a puzzle. I have been to Sicily where my family is from and I just stare in awe of the history in the buildings standing for 1000 years or more. How many feet walked into them one couldn't imagine. Love your work. You've gotta be the most fashionable tradesman I've ever seen. You got great style and obviously have many skills. Reminds me a lot of my late dad, who passed when I was 16. My condolences for your grandpa passing.

Wolves are beautiful animals. I live in a rural area in the deep South, USA. Wolves are rarely seen where I live. They are usually passing through, if seen. There are many coyotes where I live, and wild hogs, deer, turkey, and quail.

I hear the wolf! I see the moon. I wish I could see the stars. Google tells me, wolves howl long distances to let other wolves know they are there. This is their means of setting boundaries to avoid potential run-ins with other wolves. So the wolf you may see tomorrow is not necessarily the wolf you heard howling the night before. The setting of you and your neighbor surrounded by fog while he retold the legend of the wolf was intriguing and well suited to the concept. I'm sorry for the loss of your Grandfather. It sounds like he might have been a bit inspired by steampunk before steampunk even got its name. You get to think of him whenever you use that vice. It's like a little piece of him. How lovely. I'll have to find that portrait and video of him. May he RIP

There are people whose character is such that it draws others in. I think it has something to do with appreciating silence. Much can lie beyond that. A man on a mountain, a woman walking her dog at the ocean beach. They both sit right with me. Thank you for sharing Martijn. Can I convince you to rescue a dog?

I am SO glad that I caught this series from the beginning, and look forward to new uploads each week, very much. I love what you are doing, I love your explanations, I love how creative you are, and how much knowledge you have regarding this renovation. Actually, renovation does not fit, as you are re-building these beautiful houses in the Meadow of the Wolf. Also, to hear those wolves was ethereal. So cool. So beautiful! Thank you!

Oh, I didn't want this video to end.
The mountain land in which you have immersed yourself is so sacred. It was wonderful to watch the mountains' winter spirit manifest itself in so many magnificent ways from the wolf howls to the rising mists, to the falling and the melting snows.
Those mountain cabins would make perfect retreat shelters where one could come and be renewed by mother nature.
I also look forward to more of the crane build.

This is fast becoming one of my fave channels on you tube. Hearing wolves always makes my hair stand up, it’s such a mournful sound…isn’t it. We had two howling in our yard one day….it was chilling. Your view is exceptional and even though I live in the Rockies in Canada the view is so different…yours is incredible. When you talked about your Grampa or father building g steam trains, it reminded me how my Grampa did as well. My uncle still has it and it still works. Thank you for your beautiful channel.
