I am shopping for astro chair. This one is nice like IKEA……..I like the two notches as it seems like it would be stronger and safer.

Don't buy this Geoptik chair. I bought this after I read a moderator in Star Gazers Lounge astronomy forum wrote a five star review about it. Then I discovered he has put it for sale! It became clear he wrote that review for getting rid of it quickly. It is the worst seat I have ever used. It is such a pain on the crotch. There is a kind of chair which is called industrial worker's chair which is £100 in Japan. It is very popular in Japan with telescope users. In UK it is imported by an American company which sells it for £400. If you can not afford it, an ironing chair will do. I use mostly my Skywatcher observing chair, but you have to sit on the tip of the seat to stop it dropping you down suddenly. Other than that it is a good chair.

It will be good to have your feedback after using it for a 2 to 4 hours observing session.

Don't Buy it. It is a pain on the proverbial "down under" part of the body. Probably the most uncomfortable seat ever. A Skywatcher observing chair is much better.
