As a structural engineer its not often I get impressed with mechanical objects but I've got to admit the simplicity and functionality of this thing is ingenious.
I bought this so that I could go to universal and Disney parks. The lines are way too long and this little beauty helped so much with not having to stand in line for so long. Wait times were around 120 min long.
If it holds up after long term use without acting up it will be truly amazing.

I bought 3... used them three time and two of them came apart. Seemed like a great idea but better quality wins the day!
I tried it and it takes a bit of finger power to rotate and extend it fully. It's also possible to pop off around the holder around the fingers. Idea - great. Usability - so-so.

If you sit for too long, it'll break no matter how much/little you weigh or whether or not you actyally change positions. I'm 180 pounds, used it for 1.5 hours and it splayed out and broke everything. If it was aluminum with some steel parts, it would almost be perfect (at the expense of the extra weight from metal vs. Plastic, but at that point it would actually be useful)

I purchased two for wildlife/sports photography. Both broke. Apparently it common if you use them on uneven ground. You need a cushion after 30 minutes as they are uncomfortable. A great idea, hopefully the will get it right & if they do I will be buying another.
