- Bohol's BEST Lunch View? Philippines Honey đŻ đ”đ
Islands in the Philippines are known for their crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. Today I explored one of these Filipino islands in Bohol, Philippines. I explore. Bohol's Bee Farm while looking for a scenic lunch view in Bohol, Philippines. I recommend this spot for lunch if in Bohol, Philippines! Thanks for watching!

Just came back from Bohol a few weeks ago! Definitely love Bohol bee farm!
Bohol is a lovely province. The people are kind. I was so thankful that our government built an airport there, for the tourists to see its beauty.
@LotharFriedrichFreiherr Seriously? The LGU must do something about this.
Malungay is used in herbal medicine but Pinoys use it in soups like Chicken tinola, it has a lot of medicinal properties.
We were there back in 2006. They are one of the most popular eco-spa, back then. They have expanded their restaurant from what I see on your video. They had a lot of flowers because of their bee farm and those flowers also got integrated into their dishes.
You have such a relaxing vlogging style, just walking around, chatting with people, looking at things and trying out foods, it makes me feel like I'm right there doing it too.
Hope the BBF fully recovers and revives their operations. And go back to bee farming, too. Had a wonderful stay there some decades back.
Life in the Philippines made your day, when people loves to chat đđ. That feeling of warmth and friendliness.
God Bless Jonathan for Loving Philippines đ
I hope you bring your parent here in the philippines to see and visit our countryđ„°đ„°đ„°
Thanks for the reminder. The Bee Farm just opened a brand new Buzzz Cafe here in my town. About 8 minutes away. Away we go!
Hi Jon, I have never been to Bohol. I grew up in Davao City. I left Davao City when I was in the 20's. I miss the white sand beach, the beautiful ocean, and the mountains. Someday I'm going home back for vacation. Nice view and thank you.
sweet... been waiting for a new video from you.
Thanks for watching Cory!!
nice video, chicken looks delicious. Charcoal ice cream interesting
I miss Bohol Philippines đ”đ more Videos Please
Saw you at the Bohol Beach Club today, Wednesday. Hope to see a vlog on the place.
Wow my Favorite restaurant in Bohol... Bee Farmâ€â€â€
Yes bro experience life to the fullest..enjoy.
That guy you met from Iloilo. He speaks Visaya (Ilonggo). Bohol and Cebu people speak Visaya (Cebuano). Visayas region has many dialects. But everyone can converse in Tagalog.
That was a great video Jonathan. I just at wish you showed it on a map!
Otherwise the cuts and editing were great. You are growing confidence and I love to here the language of Bohol!
Quaint and fancy place. What a perfect pristine view while having a delectable meal, brother Jon.
Welcome back to Bohol, Jonathan. Glad you're back. For your next blog would be fiesta attack this May where every day of the month there is fiesta and most household people will invite anyone who passes by. I'll try to send you the list of dates and towns in your messenger since it's a link/Newsfeed post.
Woohoo new video my fiancé and I will be visiting In February for a month for our honeymoon! We decided on which islands to go to from your videos and Bohol is definitely on our list. Thank you for all your travel advice
We'd love to see you try more Filipino food. Hope you atleast try Sinigang. It is now becoming popular in other countries after it became Taste Atlas' World's Best Soup in 2021. Even vloggers like Mergim, Juicy vlog, and Making it happen's Mike loves it. It's a sour soup and eaten with rice. It can be Pork, Shrimp or even Salmon Sinigang.
I eat Filipino food almost every day at the Karenderias but usually donât film myself there as itâs just my daily routine. But Sinigang is actually one of the foods I havenât tried yet! I think itâs because I donât crave hot soup during the hot day đ Iâll definitely try it though! Maybe at night would be better
Glad youâre having a great time in Bohol, great food, great weather for cold Biko and ice cream, have fun Jonathan, stay safe from Sacramento Ca
Malungay or Moringa are grown everywhere there in the Philippines. The next time you go to a Carinderia or restaurant, ask them if they have the Malungay soup.
Jonathan, I think I just watched all your videos. You mentioned youâre from Alabama. I go to Birmingham all the time! Thank you for sharing your videos. They are addicting.
Nice resto view! đAnd that's what you call a home made glazed nuts âș
You have a great way of talking to people, very polite and respectful. It has helped me learn a few words. I also liked the nuts and honey idea. Many thanks.
That is really a nice place.

Wow. That view. Love your vlogs.
Thank you Nityaa!
My husband and I now enjoy your honey and nut suggestion! Much healthier option! We're enjoying your videos!
Hahah thatâs awesome!! I was wondering if anyone was going to try it! Thanks for letting me know!
Coming home soon ,hoping we will meet you around August! My children too excited!
As always enjoying the view đ jealous đđ
You just keep adding things to my list of must visit places. I will probably have to extend for another 30 days after I get there just to scratch the surface of the things I want to see while there.
Just visit what you can while you are there. I just get on a plane and each trip go to an area I have never been, and half the time I don't make hotel reservations until I land there. Stay mobile and explore the Philippines, I have made about 18 trips since 2007. I usually visit at least 2 new areas each trip, it's been fun, If I like and area I stay for a while, if I don't like I move on.
I haven't scratched the surface yet still myself
Nice your bck â€
Have u tried eat bohol color red rice? but i am not sure if they still served that red rice bcoz when i study there in Bohol we eat that...

†Love the impromptu stops and you communicating with the locals. You are a TRAVELER, not a Tourist. đ€
Iâm from the Philippines but Iâm from the north. I have yet to go to the famous beaches of my own home country. đ Next time we visit the Philippines, Iâll be island hopping!
Plan on visiting Cordillera region soon⊠â€
Hi thank you for watching! Thats Exactly where I want to go next! Becoming Filipino channel was just there! But I heard April was the harvest, so itâs not as green after that. Is May too late?
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL đ I did see Kulas going to the backstreets of Bontoc and Benguet. Kumander Daot took the Ifugao backroads right after him. May is the dry seasonâŠthe terraces would be bare if you want to see the green luscious rice terraces. However, Baguio City is called the summer capital for a reason. Low humidity and the highest temperature rarely goes beyond 85, Sagada and the vegetable terraces in Atok is still good to go visit. Lots of local tourist though. đ€ June-August is monsoon season so donât travel there thenâŠitâs the time for the rice paddies in Ifugao to fill, till and plant and the roads going from one province to the other is a bit dangerous. The best times to travel the entire Cordillera is between November to March. Take note that mid February to mid March is the annual Flower Festival in Baguio City (RE: Panagbenga) which is always something to look forward to, then from there, go towards Banaue Rice terraces via Sagada if you like to visit the vegetable terraces and the caves.
Hey Jonathan, thanks for getting back to me, another great video! Since you are living there how did you get around the mandatory return flight policy?
Good morning bro..another great video đ! Hope to be there soon..
Iâm drooling watching the crispy chicken đ€€ hungry bunny now.
Love love sea urchin sushi. Expensive though. Imagine itâs so fresh there. I would bring sushi rice if I go there & pig out.
Dude youâre famous now đ
Love your channel brother! Cheers.
Nice view! đź

Watching your videos and interactions with the locals and other people (oh, and not to forget the lovely distractions) is making my mental health better. No pressure, though. ;-) Take care!
thank you for watching! Iâm glad to hear it can help you in any way! What do you mean; why would that be pressure?
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL Just a joke, Jonathan. ;-) Looking forward to the next video! Are you planning to jump islands any time soon, to f.ex Panay?
Was the food good? Super high prices for native food. The view was awesome, I wouldn't mind paying a premium for food if it was good and that view was there.
New subs. Sir shout out from Nuat Thai danao panglao Bohol đâ€
What a nice place đ
It is!

You did not go down by the water ? there is a steps to go down near the restaurant. You can relax there and nice breeze.
That section was closed off for some reason

Ever since I planned my trip back to my home (Philippines) I started watching this guys vlogs, to be honest I dont really watch any Vlogs at all (not that im anyone special LOL) but this guy is actually really interesting person and a really nice person. such a down to earth type of guy. I fully support and enjoy this guys channel, his vlogs making me so excited for my trip back home.
ITS BEEN 13YEARS. I miss my home mann!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really appreciate this comment! 13 years is a long time away! Where did you move to?
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL You're welcome sir! I moved to San Francisco, Ca. moved here when I was 14yrs old, I'm 27 now and I know a lot has changed since forsure! That's why I started searching how its like out there because I'm kind of nervous for whatever reason. Bohol is going to be my one of my destination actually, thats because of your Vlogs, its exactly what I like. the people, views, food, and it isn't crowded like the other tourist spots!
@@Lacvmbisss oh nice man! Alona Beach in Bohol can be crowded but that's probably only 2% of the island in terms of size. Very easy to get away from the tourism, which is what I like as well! Bohol's a great hub to get to Camiguin, Cebu, and Siquijor easily as well!
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL oh okay noted! Thanks for that information
@@Lacvmbisss sure thing! Have a good trip!
The 3 trips I've made from USA to Panglao Bohol we have visited Bohol Bee Farm. Yes a great place. Last year we also went to a place I believe it was called Zaras Cafe if you want a view its an absolute must. The owner is a great person as well as the food.
Great tipâ thanks! Iâll search it now. Did they have bees when you visited in the last?
Not that I'm aware of.
Your vlogs make me miss the Philippines so much, alot of the beaches and places you vlog about I've been. Thanks for bringing back great memories. Trust me on Zaras
Thatâs awesome đ subscriber from Sydney! at d moment am watching now from Sydney đâŠ

Commenting on an earlier vid to avoid Maritesses, lol. Anyway, just want to share with you a comment i made on Carefree Chris' channel:
Honestly, and this is just my personal opinion based on my observations okay - most Visayan and Mindanaoan women typically have strong personalities. My mother is originally from northern Mindanao and she is what we call "mataray" (snappy, a bit crass, etc). Kind of like that famous celebrity mom here, Anabelle Rama (who's from Cebu). BUT, they do have a very loving side too which shows in how well they take care of their husbands and kids. I guess it's more of how they communicate with others that's mataray.
Do you know that joke about Germans and how they speak? That even if they're sad, they still come across as angry? I think it's sort of like that. đ
Im a fan! Do you have tips for travellers on what not to do and what to do or where to go? Im a filipina but ive never been anywhere but manila only.
Malunggay - Moringa ( healthy leaves )
Ube - purple Yan or purple taro
Guysbano - soursop ( healthy fruit )
Oh nice thank you!
taro and yam are different. ube is a yam, gabi is taro
