Looks like Heaven. But needs more of the lawn and garden tractors too....
Great video Gerry. Nice to see the exhibits are owned privately and donated to the museum. Understand why JD are at mannheim now. Keep up the great videos.👍👍👍🚜🚜🚜

Nice gerry 👍. Don't think I've ever paused and read so much on a youtube video😂.
Casto 😂😂 well that’s why I put those boards up so anyone interested could read them
2 things that are good is a jd tractor and the good Lord let's keep it green yall Andy the JD man from sc
Agree with that Andy. Thank you for the comment 😊
@@gerry6420 this day and time we need the good Lord more than ever
I had a neighbor that had a 4010 that was serial number 10, guess I should have snagged that one when he was done with it. FYI, he used that tractor from 1960 till he bought his new 4240, yep,,, that many years.
Muy bien para Ingeniero industrial.
Many of those exhibits are on loan from their owners, so the exhibits do change often as the owners remove them to return to their home and local show circuit. Shame the Dain tractor has been put into the back room storage, it really is a major piece in the Deere story and deserves recognition.
Nice video 👍
Ricky's diecast models thanks Ricky
👍🏻👍🏻
Well Thank You Gerry for the Wonderful non-singing JD Tour! Swear I could almost smell the thick Rubber Tractor Tires and Enamel Paint in there! For all us *JD* *Model* *A* Good ol' Boys out there, Gerry starts bringing her into view around frames 2:25 and a full shot around frames 3:19 . Around Frames 4:38 Gerry caught some of Industrial Designer *Henry* *Dreyfuss'* cool "Tractor Grille" work on the wall. Man, I wondered if there was a "Tractor Sound" button I could have pushed to hear a sample of the Legendary *Johnny* *Poppin'* 2 Stroke Sound? Just in case Ya'll need to hear some Muscle JD Model A Start-Up Action, here it is fo' sho' - czcams.com/video/Xqcel5MyBlk/video.html -- #missmygrandpa
It's a shame I only missed you by a couple of hours there! I'd imagine you went on the tour at the tractor and cab assembly plant?
Eli Fleming yes I was on that tour. I was on it many years ago too. Nice tour to see how tractors are made. I know only missed you by a few hours. It’s a small world
gerry6420 Aye, that was a nice place. But what are the chances I would drive from New York to Iowa and miss one of my favourite youtubers going to the same places I was by a few hours? 😂
Eli Fleming we probably passed each other on the interstate going opposite direction 😂
gerry6420 Probably 😂😂😂
Where is the 6030?
Good question, it was there last time we visited, looks like its been replaced by the 4010 or 530 where it sat.
Location
It’s in the title...... Waterloo, Iowa
Definitely Worth a visit if you ever are near it.
@@gerry6420 Thank you sir
@@gerry6420 We Heartily Thank you Sir
Good video but would have been better without the obnoxious loudmouth in the background
Yes you get those sometimes 😂
Are you sure it a John Deere museum and not a John Deere junk yard
Is that it? Where’s the rest? What an excuse of a museum by John Deere, most the exhibits are privately owned, go visit Tom renner now that’s a John Deere museum
Yes that’s it. It’s pretty small considering but still a nice visit
Nice tour. Too bad JD is so overpriced and underwhelming nowadays. Old John would rolling over in his grave.
Yes. But JD and CAT are rebuilt able as components are engineered super tough and well designed. Lots spent on research and development. My Dad had other brands. When brothers took over 2 implement businesses. One got the John Deere franchise. Night and day difference in quality. Many brands are ready for the bone pile after several thousand hours.
Thanks for the tour gerry
tek bros no bother jack. 👍👍
