Nigerian Nightmare - Christian Okoye Highlights

  • The Chiefs' battering ram had a short but memorable career as a power back who required at least 3 guys to bring him down.
All footage and music belong to their respective owners. Those respective owners are probably the NFL.
I found the footage on CZcams, and the music was downloaded off Dave Volsky's amazing channel.

We always called then cowboy collars because back in the day cowboys that ride broncs in the rodeos used to wear them and hell they still might. I've been away from rodeoing for about 20 years now and even then I was a bullrider. Bull riders didn't have enough sense to try and protect ourselves in any way besides a vest and hitting the ground and either bouncing up to our feet on the run in the opposite direction of the bull or hitting the ground running lol. Damn what I wouldn't do to be about 20 years younger again playing football and chasing the rodeo. Best days of my youth right there.

  • @PockyCandy

Christian Okoye had a fairly typical career arc for a good running back, if you think about it. He was a good backup with some serious potential in his first two seasons. He then peaked in his third season, and then began declining afterwards. As a power back, he was never destined to have a long career. However, Okoye had a memorable one, which is more than most RBs can say.
btw, it's a darn shame that Okoye highlights were rare. I used the NFL Yearbook videos to get footage for this video, and NFL films seemed allergic to showing Okoye runs. They'd rather show another ho-hum Steve DeBerg to Stephone Paige pass.
Anyways, the next video will be another Chiefs-centric video. Y'all are about to see why Derrick Thomas was the greatest pass-rusher in Alabama history.

    • @davidk6269

If Chiefs just had a nxt level QB in early-mid 90s? Like a Dan Marino as they should drafted in 83 Draft. Chiefs have at least 5 SB rings now.
Some those early-mid 90s teams better than Chiefs SBLIV team overall. Just no QB. One best defenses of all-time, amazing offensive line, great RBs
