- The first part of the full voting of the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest, with British commentary and in this part the votes from:
- Norway
- Israel
- Austria
- Iceland
- Belgium - Hudba
Iceland were one of two countries not to give Ireland anything. Shame on our jury, Johnny Logan fully deserved his victory with "Hold Me Now".
@DanBdx68 Certainly not the only time. Riki Sorsa "Reggae O.K. in 1981 was definitely reggae and being French you surely remember Kali singing Monté la riviè for France ?
Funny that RTBF hosted the contest as it was a Wallonian victory in 1986 but it was Flanders that represented Belgium in 1987 but they announced the votes in French. Wallonia was represented though via Luxembourg and Plastic Bertrand
Case in point, if Belgium wins and hosts again, it will be hosted by whoever was the broadcaster who won the previous year and the host entry will be chosen by the other broadcaster.

The same thing happened in 89 and 90 aswell.
I don't like Hold me now I think his 3 other entries in Eurovision are much better but I doubt I can live with that my country Iceland gave it 0 points and instead gave 12 points to Germany. I get nightmares after herring that horror. Reminds me of Chucky
