The first part of the voting for the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest, hosted by Åse Kleveland in Bergen, Norway. With a special dedication to escbelgium111 ;-)
Frank Naef was always a charmer, and great of him to remind Åse that she came 3rd for Norway in Luxembourg 20 years before, and that Luxembourg were the first country she would call for their points.
Nice job on the voting videos! This, the first year Iceland took part, was one where I agree with the juries in certain aspects (the top-4 was quite strong) and not in others (why, exactly, did Sweden and Denmark end up in the top 6?). I also feel really bad for the Netherlands, whom even Wogan thought of as strong outsiders. One funny thing about the running order, though; notice how all the countries with the red-blue-white flag motif are the first drawn, in succession.
+Salvatore Escoti thank you... back in those times were the winner wasn't determined before the final basically.... back in those times were the winner was only decided at the last country
@@user-ix5dc1zb5p isn’t the territory called Kosovo? I’m under the impression that the vast majority of the population there is ethnic Kosovar Albanian
This is the least exciting voting in Eurovision we know the winner from jury 2. We do not know the winner that early in 82,89,94,97 maybe 09 is as little exciting. J'aime la vie was good but not the best one and a bit overrated but I wouldn't say it didn't deserve to win.
That´s the real Eurovision
exactly!
Thanks Luxembourg and Yugoslavia ❤ from Turkey :)
Youre welcome.
I miss these days and the excitement of the voting

La presentadora con más clase de la historia.
Is Åse Kleveland WHO are in 1966?
Yes, that's her :)
