I have eaten bole with peanut, that has a unique taste, particularly for those in Lagos, and possibly western Nigeria, I think it’s great, but for the port harcourt, and Bayelsa folks, the sauce and roasted fish appears to be an ideal compliment to eat with the bole. Personally, both fried peanut and sauce is a win, win compliment to eat this wonderful food.

😂😂😂😂 I don’t think there is a formula for that. It appears you cook by learning the trade through observation, the trick is not to let it burn, the same goes for the yam. You will turn it around until you find a state of equilibrium on all side of the plantain, and move it to the zone where the coal is burning low on the burner so it cooks slowly inside. You don’t want it to be dried, it has to be soft, so it will be yummy in taste to the consumer. Now you will have to learn the secret of sauce making from the old hands, it like a hand me down knowledge.

    • @queendooshima

As much as you can so it doesn't burn 👍

Naija have banana, but they don't know fried banana and fried fish like Ivory Cost, they have plenty good cassava and don't know to make "attieke". They don't know to make "foutou banane". Why some local women don't go to Ivory Cost for learn this dishes?

@@bellastephen3609 Wheat + water + yeast, the white man bread recipe is the same wherever it has been imposed. Let's learn to know the foods of our African neighbours, it's also a form of integration. I am from Burkina, during my trips in Lagos, I learned how to cook egusi soup and garri, amala and ewedu, ..etc. In my country, I often cook these dishes from Naija and I am proud of it.
