I'd be the guy standing next to Megatron and saying "Yeah, he was right, ya freaking hypocrites." The fact that Prime in here literally says to the guy in the cell, with a threat of mind violation, that it "wouldn't be in anyone's interests" to review their war is fairly damning. I love Megatron's rebuttal, basically saying "What kind of kangaroo court has a million year long NEMESIS sitting in judgement of their foe."
I hate Hot Rod with a burning passion, but that quip at Prowl about his personality, that was good not gonna lie. Starscream's testimony though, damn dude what did Megatron do to you? you ripped him a new asshole with that.
what did Megatron do to you? Look up Spotlight Megatron. Megtaron destroyed Starscream, after the seeker saved his life previously. What happened is that Starscream was in charge after Megatron was recovering from a horrific injury (Starscream didn't case it). Megatron's army just didn't want to obey the Air commander, and everything started to fall apart. Morale was all time low, just like resources, and Megatron's once strong army strated to fall apart. Bots even turned to cannibalism, while Starscream had no power to stop it, and reign the mechs in. Megatron came back, and lets just say we got 16 pages of Megatron brutally beating Strascream, while verbally destorying him too (at one point or another Starscream was begging for death). In IDW Megatron used to abuse Starscream a lot. When thy fist met, Starscream even shed tears, because he idolized Megatron. Down the line he gradually turned against Megatron because of the abuse Megatron put him trough.

Starscream begged for death because he was dying, not because Megatron was beatting him to death. IDW, Starscream Idolized megatron, everyone did even Optimus. Megatron put everyone through the wringer, Soundwave, shockwave, ravage, no one was spared. Only Starscream got it worse because he's a lying backstabbing coward no one trusts.
"You BROKE the matrix" One would think Optimus would get a "Spark" attack after hearing that. XD

IDW had a brilliant cast of characters, written realistically and comically. Its akin to an epic novel series.

Rattrap lacks all his good and redeeming qualities in IDW, he’s basically the Starscream to Starscream and he’s not a maximal he’s a neutral
