In all honesty, this is not a perfect video by any stretch of the imagination. There are some mistakes here and there, and I'll hopefully get to fixing them somewhere down the line.
Still, I hope you all enjoy this and have fun.

Well, this is my attempt at adapting a full issue of a comic into a video, and a sort of follow-up to my much shorter video featuring the introduction to the Decepticon Justice Division. I realize that it's not perfect and there were some things I could've added or done differently, but for now, this is what you get. I hope you all enjoy it. Let me know what you all think.

I think it's a perfect depiction of Marxism/ Communism. They boil religion down into it's most offensive part totally forgetting it's also a path to wisdom, yet they pay homage to religion with rituals (playing music, ect) and religious behaviour. They also say the class system is bad, yet hate and kill based on class and in this case what their body is made of... that's a link to marxism, not religion, but I thought I'd add it.
As a muslim myself,Tarn is the perfect example of "Removing religon from the world wont do any diffrence".
I find it hilarious that the DJD terrifies most other transformers, but to themselves, they’re almost a family

Hearing tarn speak makes the cons seem like the good guys
That what makes Idw transformers so sad. The Decepticons were fighting against a corrupted government that was pure evil but became so violent that they lost their way. It like if the rebel from star wars, after they blow up the 2nd death star, started slaughtering innocent people because they believed in the empire.
Also, the way tarn described the Decepticons sounds like the french revolution.
@@dvdWATER6308 That's more or less what happened, although I compare it more the October Revolution and the Russian Civil War. Decepticonism was founded on a communistic basis, what with the core rhetoric of emancipating the lower classes, death to the aristocracy, etc. Megatron fits the bill for Lenin, and Tarn is certainly a Trostky.

@@samuelwithers2221 I'm not sure if Tarn would be a Trotsky, but Megatron would certainly be Lenin. Stalin in my opinion would definitely be Starscream, and honestly I kind of think that Trotsky might be Optimus

This does work to humanize one of the most atrocious groups of deceptions in all of media. Were not for what I knew if Tarn later, I might’ve actually sympathized with him as merely trying to keep Megatron’s legacy alive, misguided though that might’ve been. Instead, he’s plenty evil and uses religion, ironically, to build himself up. IDW, for the most part, really knew how to write this stuff.

And this is why I LOVE the IDW Comics. EVERYTHING THAT INVOLVES THE D.J.D., Tarn specifically.

Wonder where Starscream is on the List, given his numerous attempts to overthrow Megatron.
He was actually taken off the List by Megatron's own orders. He still wanted to keep Starscream around, both for his battle prowess and as a reminder to always watch his back
@@samuelwithers2221 seriously? By that logic, why wasn't Shockwave taken off the list? He's attempted to overthrow Megatron as frequently.
@@Daldi564 Shockwave was on the List and even had a run in with the DJD after the prison break on Garrus 9. He got away though, at the expense of like 31 other guys with him who were also on the List. I think after that he just kinda vanished until Dark Cybertron, but I'm not entirely sure

This IDW comic book issue given audio is another reason why it's so hard to take any animated or live action TF project in the last 20 year seriously in any way! It was great and begs the question why Hasbro and IDW can't make one last deal with Audible's "GraphicAudio" group to make official Novels like this.... Marvel has started this and it's been pretty good. I can only imagine how good the rest of James Roberts work or even Simon Furman's beginning of IDW lore would turn out if it were anything like this video.
I have to say your rendition of Tarn has really grown on me. It's now the voice I hear in my head when thinking of him. I would love to hear your take on Overlord.

Just a fan theory but imagine in an alternate universe, Tarn is the leader of the Decepticons and he's fighting against Bumblebee the new leader of the Autobots.
Internal Beurucracy is how tyranies and Dictatorships survive their first leader and potentially become an actual Nation.

Which version of Shockwave? G1, Animated, or Prime? And like I said, I tend to do my own voices on these videos, but if you can send me an audio clip of you reading some Shockwave lines, I can give it a check.
RexBlazer1 It mostly sounds like animated , but I certainly believe that it can be tweaked into G1 shockwave, I do as a matter of fact have two voice acting clips that I did for a reviewer, I'll send the links in a bit ^^

I think you need different music for certain scenes. It's causing major soundtrack dissonance with whats going on in them.
You're not the first person to say that, but as I've told them, I only used the music that James Roberts said was the soundtrack for this particular issue.
You do a good interpretation of tarns voice
I like the fact that in transformers world helex and tessarus exist because the show us that decepticons are an army of workers because helex could melt metals for making buildings or something like that and tessarus to slice big parts of metals amazing idea of that though of taking two workers and make them elite torture soldiers

I listened to the empyrean suite a few times but I always get a headache from it
ProTip: When having spoken dialogue.. avoid background music with lyrics.
The dialogue could've been read slightly slower, especially with Tarn.

This is awesome but what's up with the music? Most of the times it completely doesn't match the comic...like I mean COMPLETELY doesn't match it. It's like some person broke into the PC and switched out all the music for random, campy songs from teenage chick-flick movies or something. It doesn't make any sense...at all.
James Roberts was the one who decided on the soundtrack for this issue. He did for EVERY issue. So take it up with him.
