- One of Cimarron's latest and most popular offerings are our Lonesome Dove Walkers. These are loving tributes to what Cimarron's Founder and President Mike Harvey considers "the greatest Western of all times". Mike adds a bit to the classic story with his own piece of "fan fiction". In our new show "Boom with Mike Harvey", Mike shows you one of Cimarron's offerings and makes it go "boom".
Wanted a brace of Walkers ever since I first saw 'The Outlaw Josey Wales'. Now I have an ASM and a Blackpowder-Series Colt Walker, and a Signature-series 1860 to tuck in my belt.
" . . . their last hoorrah. " Lonesome Dove. Yes indeed, and what a HOORAH it was. One of my favorite movies. And a mighty fine firearm to celebrate. Many thanks.
I have 2 Walkers that I had tuned and I love them they are awesome replicas
It would be nice if the Walkers were in stock!
Guess their not that great after all since this was only 10 months ago!
You should definitely watch Comanche Moon, it’s a beautiful prequel!
Beautiful gun!! To my recollection, only Gus had a Walker and Call had what looked to be an 1860 navy. Both of them being conversions.
I believe in the book they were still percussion

Being dyslexic, I'm not much of a reader. You would know better than me when it comes to the book.. I'm sure the book was fantastic. Books are usually a lot more detailed. I read some of Louie Lamar's Bindigo Shafter. Very detailed. But unfortunately, reading wears me out way too much.
Love to have a 1863 colt patterson/walker with drop down trigger.
They are beautiful!
Nice!! Cimarron ever thought of a replica 1877 double action ! Cimarron Lightnings but with DA?
Very nice revolver i love it!!!!
SUPER DUPER Pard ! 🤠👍👍💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Stunning.
I have several of your guns. Love them.
My bucket list just got longer two of these with backstrap engraving of with with Gus and Woodrow's name.
WOW THESE STUNNING BEAUTIFUL RECREATIONS ARE MIND BLOWING CRAFTSMANSHIP... BEAUTIFUL, my new hobby has brought me here !
I love your firearms. I have two SAA clones that are some of my favorites
The walker revolver Gus used in Lonesome Dove was converted to shoot metallic cartridges.
Lonesome Dove is a fantastic movie and those Walkers are beautiful! Bandolero is another fantastic movie that was based in Val-Verde Tx. I have always loved the guns that were used in that movie, they looked like Colt single actions made up to look like a Remington 1858 or 1875 revolvers. I wish you would re-create that gun because damn I would love a pair of those!
Hey Mike Harvey,
Just between you, me, and the rest of the world; the new Uberti "Retractable Firing Pin" in the Cattleman revolvers is an abomination!
Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme I'll take two of those revolvers and I will be one happy cowboy
Half true? Ha, ha love It! BTW Mike, your 1876 rifles are about as true to my Winchester 76s as can be. I can't tell which one i am holding if my eyes are closed. Congratulations to you and the Uberti team!
Lonesome Dove is based on the true story of Charles Goodnight and Oliver Loving.
Cool tool..👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I think in would be cool if they did an antique finish version of the two lonesome dove revolvers it would go with his story of the finish being worn out and embellished just a thought
Would like to order a walker colt
The greatest western of all time was the BOOK Lonesome Dove.
Wish they had a proper strength main spring in Uberti guns. Weak springs make cap jams. Love your guns, but hesitant to get another.
I am confused on the difference between the basic Cimaron Walker and the Lonesome Dove model other than the unfinished cylinder
If I may, and I beg your humble pardon, never desiring to ever offer insult or any form of disrespectful words to Mister Harvey or anyone at Cimarron Firearms Co., or Texas Jack’s Store when I offer my query. The brand-new Uberti- Cimarron “Gus & Call” Whitneyville-Walker Colt’s, are they truly Colt-like “replicas”, or are they the standard Uberti reproductions? My experience with the fine Uberti- Cimarron reproductions have taught me to remodel/rework these goodly revolvers back to Colt-like standards for proper and practical utilization as per historical use. Replicas, like the Uberti-Cimarron McCulloch-Colt revolvers, work like the real Colt revolvers, straight out of the box and with little or no reworking. The reproductions do not deliver on experiential archeology as the replicas do. Thus, why do I ask? Again, I mean no disrespect to A. Uberti, to Mister Harvey, or anyone, honestly I don’t. As a teacher of American history to my student, and yes, we really go shooting in my classroom, for I don’t the theory, I teach reality, and I always attempt to find the best replicas for my classroom to teach the most honest lessons possible. Cimarron Firearms Co., by and large, assist me better than any other firearms company in America in this, my endeavor. Again, this is why I ask about the new Walker revolvers before I buy them for my classroom, never meaning to come across as unkind or all-knowing, for I, too, am a student. I thank you most kindly in advance for your goodly reply and remain a faithful customer of your brand of firearms, always. - Col. Montana Kid Hammer, teacher & SASS-CAS member in Fairbank, Alaska
Were do I get that t shirt!!??
*Did they lacquer the grips back then?*
*Because I think this pistol would look excellent if they were oil rub finished.*
*Old Pistol; Too Shiny*
*I still like it, but would probably refinish those grips for looks, and to have a better purchase hold.*
*Thumbs up # 86*
(PS; a direct link to purchase this pistol would be helpful/beneficial)
The original Colt's I have seen over the years have been varnished.
@@yodadf *Thanks!*
I extremely want the Augustus McCrae revolver it would be fitting for me I have had several people who watched the movie tell me I reminded them of Gus my personality and mannerisms that’s what made me watch the movie I wanted to see for myself the man they were comparing me to and I am honored to be cut for the same cloth as that good man
Those Walkers come already engraved on the cylinder from the Uberti plant in Italy.
I have a pair of them, and they both have the engraving on the cylinders! HE DIDN'T DO THAT! UBERTI DID!! The only thing he did was remove the bluing from the cylinder. Wtf?
They didn’t feel good after leaving the bar, Gus felt old and unappreciated. Don’t want to be that guy but they definitely he definitely didn’t feel good at all
You need to repro Good..Bad..UGLY firearms..I don't think anyone has cloned Angel Eyes pistol..or Poco"s
We make those. Thanks.
