- If I could title this video... well, it would be A Series of Unfortunate Events.
We also lovingly refer to these issues as the End of Harvest Gremlins.
They only come out when the end is in sight.
And they really do slow down progress.
In the barn, my down ewe with mastitis is slowly showing some improvement!!
and...
HARVEST IS ALMOST DONE!

It would really help to have the closed captioning available! Really enjoy your channel and I don't want to miss anything!!
Hey Susan! I've been chatting with CZcams about this, and they haven't been able to tell me why the took off my auto generated captions. I've looked further into it, and it looks like some videos they just don't include them. It's so frustrating. Please know that they were previously added by CZcams, and not me... and now I don't know how to fix it. I'm so very sorry.
Closed Captioning doesn’t work with people speaking Canadian.
@@SandiBrock Unfortunately, these are three videos that I didn't watch
@@SandiBrock that sheep is a good girl
@@SandiBrock I think you might be able to get the authorization to have community captions? It might be worth looking into?
I love how Mark referred to you as the " Dream Team", it's nice to have the love & respect of your family 💞🙏👼💖
Omg when Jess said "It's been a mom day" I almost choked on my coffee!!! So glad to see the mastitis ewe up! I have no clue how you guys do everything you do, but thank God for farmers!!!!!!!!!
Lol! I howled when I edited that part!!
@@SandiBrock it's funny watching jess make fun of you and Mark in her dry sense of humour way, yet she is so much like you both. Cheers from Vancouver
No farmers = no food. I'm glad that someone gets it. I praise Yah for farmers. :)
I'm always amazed when farmers quote when a field was planted or harvested, a steer or lamb was born, when a storm came in etc. I can't remember what I did last week most of the time.
Sandi, thank you for taking the time to share the bodacious Brock family’s very busy life. With 8 months now of virtual lockdown, your vlogs are such a welcome diversion. Take care and may God bless you and yours.
Omg Jess saying “let’s go boys! Let’s go!” So much in this was giving me total Letterkenny hockey bros and I am HERE FOR IT. FERDA.
This is why your followers keep coming back. We all have bad days and sharing yours makes our lives “normal”. We love you sharing “real life”, but we missed our Billy, Bella, Nutmeg, and/or Cinnamon clip. So glad to see the ewe recovering! Your love and attention saves another!
Oh my, young Jess is so like her mum in so many ways. You have an amazing family Sandie, thank you for all you and other farmers do to keep the world fed. ❤
I love how Mark called you the Dream Team
It’s really Obvious you Love and Care for each and every one of your Lambs, Sheep and Rams. 👍
Sandi.
You are too funny watching that video of another farmer working. There is a golden lining to watching others work their farm crops like little thing approaches to and performing a task. Please Take Care of Your Self Be Safe Alway's Around all Farm Equipment.
God Bless you all always. I love you sharing the farming. Prayers for your family that this year will be wonderful. Love you all very much ❤
I just love seeing your whole family involved in the videos.
Ewe check, new silo check, clean up spillage check, be sympathetic to Mark check, at least half way good burgers check, dry corn check, and one tired family check. Sleepage going down to bed. Blessings
I so look forward to your videos. As soon as i seen your new upload I stopped what I was doing and come right over. Your videos truly make my day. Keep being you!🐑🐑
Thank you so much!
I love watching the harvesting.so much fun and you guys crack me up! So funny, you are the hi light of my day. Can’t wait for the videos🤣😂🙏❤️👍
hey Mark you may want to put a alarm on the wagons as it seems to be that your help ( Sandi) keep forgetting to close the door.
I had a real bad day also... But this made my day. Thank You! for literally just being there and doing your thing
Thank you!
You and millennial farmer have been my home bound ag education now that I am entirely too old and disabled to live the life you do. Somehow , knowing the struggles and learning curve of others makes this pandemic nightmare less isolating . Seeing wide open spaces, sunsets, good dirt I can almost smell , hearing the sheep and the machinery reminds me that there is something outside of the chaos and illness in the US and is helping me get through these days. I truly appreciate how very bad some days are up there and the work of getting videos up is an added burden that I would not ask you to do but I appreciate what is graciously given.
But, you did get all that corn in and finished as you said you wanted to. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WHOLE FAMILY🚚🤣🧇🎂🎂🍰🥮🥮🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦🍁🍁
Love how he says please for the tools. I get not please. Just get. lol...And yes beautiful Indian summer. The last one I remember was in I think 1995. T-shirts. Maybe there was a few in between but that is the last time I remember. And you blow my mind. You care for all the sheep and still have time to get in the corn field harvest and help with that. You are a lot kinder than me I would have hollered at my man to go scoop up the corn or at least help me because the open door was an accident.....You are a rock star. I feel exhausted watching you but love it. And I loved that he said dream team. That was so very correct :) And love how you are lovin the ewe. hugs
You and your family are incredible💛
Thank you Jess!
Unfortunately, I've had my share of days like poor Mark was having. I hope the combine is up and running and the mouth feels better. I'm praying for the ewe to continue to get better. And, I like Jess' new hair cut 😁 Thank you for brightening my day. I love watching your videos
Thanks for sharing the bad with the good. It makes me realize MY bad days are not that bad as I don't have machinery to deal with.
I hit the thumbs up before I even watch your vid Sandi. Man, Mark sure had a rough day! Hope his mouth/tooth feels better soon. A day in the life. Take care & stay safe. Cheers from another Canuck.
Whaaaaaaat? Broken combine? Well its a gosh darn good thing you tested that shinny new Claas one not longer than two weeks ago... 😉😉😉😉
Yeah, and made room in the hay barn for it 😉 😂
@@sknox1394 boom! Smoking gun!
Omg I was so happy when I looked and saw this video I just come back from school and now I am chilling watching CZcams
You are the best
"I done goofed." Yep. Seen it, done that. Sadly, late in the night, tired, it adds to the stress or feeling of running out of ammo for the day. In the morning it does look better though.
All I can say for the open grain cart door issue is: Get Jack to wire some warning buzzer or lights! A very simple solution to implement.
Love the weather this week. We broke a few records here in Kitchener. Would be nice if we got a mild winter.
Anyone who lives in southwestern Ontario knows that we live in the snow belt. Remember the storm of 76?
Yes The winter of 76 I bought my first house during this blizzard!
You and Jess being referred to as the Dream Team by Mark.
🤗👍🏻🌻💕🙏🏻🙏🏻 What a lovely compliment !
Good to see your ewe’s feeling better👍🏻
Pull plunger back on syringe for the amount you are going to withdraw and medication will come out easier. Retired nurse. Love your channel.
I love watching your videos it puts a smile on my face for the rest of today keep doing what your doing your amazing
Thank you so much!
I hope you get finished this weekend. We finished Nov. 14. Sixty days, to the day, Set 14 was first day. Thank goodness we got done before our 50mph winds and rain hit today. 👏👏👏 I hope you weather holds too.
I just love watching these videos.
I have never noticed how much like dancing harvest time is just with tractors
WoW! There are days like that! Luckily it wasn’t a full week like that. I hope Marks tooth gets fixed and those machines as well, you guys work way too hard to have machines decide to take a day off. How about another Jack challenge? Can’t he figure out a way to have a light go on or an alarm go on in the cab when you have that door accidentally open that let you spill all of that corn onto the ground? He’s a smart guy, I bet he could. Challenge accepted? Thanks for taking time for another video Sandi especially during the rougher times. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍🚜🚜🐑🐑🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
We are gonna have to make you signs for the wagons "Shut the door" :)
Awwww... Im so sorry for all the mishaps for Mark! I know you are all exhausted. Praying for safety and smoother days ahead! Downhill stretch!!
I just love watching all of you in little clips it is so fun !!
Definitely a day of mishaps!! Maybe it's a sign of great things to come?! So sorry for all the misfortunes in one day, but as a family, you got through it. The life on a farm is not one of ease, but one for strength and bonding, your family has mastered these attributes. Thanks for sharing your days with us.
My days are complete with Sandi and her Sheep!!
That is great news for your ewe !!
I’m hoping things are getting better for Mark 🙂! I’m glad you still were able to catch snippets of your days😊. Thank you for sharing your videos💕 to all the family💕🤗!
I am loving the total farm viewpoint..
This notification made my day... Awesome...
Yayy!!
Oops !! That darn corn Lol !!
LOL the sunglasses on with the bandana on my granddaughter said,,," She looks like Minne Mouse: LOL
Well I took the plunge and brought myself some of those cool bandanas and my partner loves the new look. So thankyou for sharing this idea with us.
Yayyy!!
I love the way you are making your videos now! Keep up the great work. Beautiful family.
I can relate with Mark. Have had bad days but I would take a day like that and being with my family over not being able to do what I love.

Thanks for sharing
Get out your label maker and print off a “DID YOU CLOSE THE GATE” label and tape it to the horn button. Experience talking here, it works.
SO TRUE!!!! Lol!!!
Millennial farmer is a great channel too.
He’s a Pro and he’s funny.
Great combo.
Serge Kent If you want to watch an educational & humorous channel check out Mike Mitchell
When our dairy cows got mastitis we milked them out sometimes for hours stripping the pus out. Even human moms that get mastitis are directed not to quit nursing.
I love how you treat your Lambs
So many things to think about and to do. My respect to you all . I love how you stay positive trough that all .
I hope y’all have a better day tomorrow
I feel bad for Mark, glad your sheep is doing well, I like it when Mark calls you and your daughter his dream team, and I hope things get better for you.
The Iowa farmer i follow just finished harvest. It was slow going and low yields because of the derecho, but they never give up and got it done.
@Elizabeth McBurney of course :)
Hi
Nice to see you again.
My greetings to you and your family
Thanks so much!
Hi there the Joy's of farming. you have ups and downs to work with. I grew up on the farm. 🚜🍵😎
You're so sweet and dedicated to anything you do..family animals farming and friends 🤗💚🤗 You put your all in everything..I admire you so much Sandi ..💟💓💟 Hugs lady 🤗
On the bright side.... the deer up your way are going to get big from the spilled corn... you're helping the wildlife
Jess has your smile Sandi.
Oh the craziness of farm life. I actually envy you.
Poor girl. I hope she gets better soon!
It’s good to know I’m not the only woman who “forgets” things!!! I would for sure leave wagon doors open.
Danke für deine Nachricht gelesen♡♡♥♥
Mark, you're right about the nice weather in the fall. Enjoy the nice harvesting weather. SAndi, I hope the CC issue gets resolved. I love coming ot your channel. Its one of my favorites.
I do have a teeny bit of advice. Next time someone spills beans, corn, etc. get your shop vac and an adapter and use that instead. You can probably salvage a lot more and without a bunch of dirt. I know it works because I’ve had to do it rofl! FYI in case I’m not making sense I mean the spot where you plug in the cell charger 🔌 on the tractor .
I Know that feeling Mark...and beer will help😂
Love your family and farm!
Bless your heart Mark. I hate when I have those gremlin days..
LOL @ Watching MIllennial Farmer. Zach and Becky will be pleased. They run a great channel.
Such a good channel! We love watching while we are in harvest... makes us feel like we aren’t the only ones struggling some days!!
@@SandiBrock Check out Mike Mitchell if you want to watch something that is very educational and humorous as well as non biased and called the way it happens.
I love how y’all share the green shades 😆😏👊 sorry about the tough decision on the ewe
"I'll be full of empty beer cans" 🤣🤣 poor guy
Chin up Mark, we all have those days.
I'm glad the ewe is doing better.
ahhhh just what my day needed! a Sandi video! unfortunately our beautiful warm summerlike weather has come to an end and had to turn on the furnace today. :( Poor Mark! that was a sh*tty day! LOL
I love how you do the video clips of road travel. More peeps need to see how farmers are just trying to get the harvest in and not ruin their road travel. Patience everyone please. 😁
Poor Mark, what a trying day he's had. But things can only get better! Hope he hasn't damaged a tooth though. Good to see the ewe up on her feet.
Nice presenting Mark 👍 👌 👏 good job
I see sandi has a crush on Zak 😂😂😂😂😂
I love how everyone is sharing their thoughts on this vlog❤
Like the Millennial farmer 😎 lol we all have those days. At least the deer will thank you.
I would have to say hope Mark's day's got better in the week Sandi. Glad for the sheep little by little each day.
Sandi, Your spilled corn is nothing to what my cousin did, He dump 2, Yes 2 Gravity wagons full of shelled corn ! Yes he tried to go around a field corner to fast and lost both wagons, With that being said. The Man he was working for made him shovel every bit up and when he was done with that, Flipping the wagons back over The Man fired my cousin. Now I don't see Mark firing you, But I bet he was not Happy. No More Corn Spillage Sandi ! LOL
Ewe decides to lay next to you.
Ewe:"it's cuddle time! I need some
back scratches please!"
Sandi, it's coming rite up!!"🥳🥳
The unrelenting fatigue is catching up on all of you guys please beware this is the most dangerous situation affecting you all for significant personal accidents or worse. You have been pushing yourselves too hard for too long!
Yes, I quite understand why but don't make mistakes and get into trouble.
Wow..your daughter is your mini me ! 🙂
At first shot with your daughter, sunglasses, hair down, I thought it was you Sandi. She looks so much like her Mom. Both beautiful ladies.
As I watch all of you I always worry that while trying to do your video recording you’ll get distracted and forget something on your equipment which will either cause damage or hurt one of you. Love the videos but all of you ....around machinery stay focused please. Share that with your whole family. We care more about your safety then the next video 😊❤️
You all work so hard ❤❤
Ask Rex if maybe giving some subq fluids would help your down ewes until they start drinking on their own. I wonder if it would help them recover a bit quicker? And i would think you could give those since you give calcium and what not.
Poor Mark...🙁😫 it will get better. Love seeing your videos. So happy your ewe is up on her own... yay!
Coloring on Jess hair , looks great , stay safe everyone , always working hard the dream team , Rock & Roll , ! Bob
Lol! That’s all natural on that girl! Her mom on the other hand has ALL the fake colouring!
Thank you for sharing. Been waiting for your blog. Mark it will be a better day. Love how the whole family helps.
Hey Brock family!👋 Wow what a day y'all had!! Hope everything goes better for ya'll! 😆❤👍
Nice video keeps me going
Love your videos on 🐑
We don't harvest grain on our farm. When you said about leaving the grain door open, I'm surprised there is not alarm sound or light that indicates door open.
Do you recall a report out of Alberta, Stony Plain to be exact, where our farmers were combining on New Years Eve? One in particular was Clarence, a friend of ours. He made the news.
